Since I can’t eat rice and really don’t want cauliflower, this protein packed version of Keto Carnivore Rice may be the next best thing! It’s basically all protein and yes, it’s basically minced egg whites. I’ve seen similar recipes all over the internet that say you need gelatin, however I’ve found that gelatin is not necessary and all you really need to do is chill it well before pulsing. Regular white rice really has no flavor and takes up whatever you season it with - same thing goes for this recipe. Just season as you please with either dry spices or tamari, coconut aminos, or similar sauces. Ingredients: 8 egg whites Grease a glass dish and bake in the oven until firm. Place the baked egg whites in the freezer for 15 minutes until very cold, then pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice. Oftentimes I have an idea in my head based off of my old recipes with a few tweaks, and they typically come out pretty decent....however, I feel this was exceptional and urge everyone to do a test run cuz you’ll be making triple for Thanksgiving!🦃 COMMENT ā€œbasqueā€ if you want to make this! - 1 c pumpkin puree - 3/4 c greek yogurt - 2 eggs - 1 tsp vanilla - 1 tsp pps - Option to add sweetener to taste, however I never do. Mix in a bowl then pour into a dish. @lilsipper’s JUICY CHICKEN THIGH SOUPšŸ² We eat this once a week and it’s even better the next day! Ingredients: 3-4 lbs of chicken thighs, bone in & skin on 24 oz (1 pk) of Bonafide Chicken bone broth (or their no salt added chicken broth) 6 cups filtered water 1 white onion, chopped 5-6 long carrots, chopped bunch of parsley, chopped (about 1/2 cup chopped firmly packed) 4-5 long celery stalks, chopped 1 whole garlic bulb (or less, but I LOVE garlic!), minced or crushed Sea salt to taste Black pepper to taste Method: In a large pot, add bone broth, chicken, and water and begin to cook on medium. While the chicken is cooking, wash and chop your veggies and add them to the pot. Season to taste and cover the lid with a crack so steam can escape. Simmer on medium for 30 minutes then turn off stove and cover with the lid (no cracks) and allow the soup to continue cooking from the residual heat for about 30 - 60 minutes. Serve once cooled. If you place in the refrigerator overnight the broth with gelatinize and you can truly see you’ve made a super thick bone broth! Storage tips: *Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days OR freeze in mason jars (great for meal prep!), leaving 2 inches from the top because it will expand up. I was hesitant to share for a while....but I know there are those that will keep me in prayer.Ā  Long story short, they found mold in my right lung, aspergillus. 🫁 I am currently going through treatment to combat this. There’s a chance surgery may be necessary as a last resort, but we are trusting God. Details and how I got it (FYI - it has nothing to do with diet or even my current living environment) has now been released in the most recent episode of the Digest This podcast where I share what I am doing, specialists I’m working with, the effects the treatment is having on my body, what I am taking, diet, lifestyle, and movingĀ forward. I’ll be giving weekly updates there (not here) and happy to share this information to those truly interested via the pod. Shame on anyone who puts others down and makes fun of their dietary restrictions.....they have no idea what they are going through. My husband truly knows my pain and all I’ve been dealing with, and he’s never left my side once. @LILSIPPER’s Low Carb Pumpkin Brownies made without eggs, dairy, or nuts! All you need are just 3 simple ingredients to make this moist brownie a reality! Feel free to add granulated sweetener of choice to taste if you want it sweeter (the best part is that you can taste the batter before baking since there’s no eggs!) - But if you use sweetened chocolate chips, I think they sweeten it up just enough for me. Check out @lilsipper for more simple recipes that are easy to digest! Ingredients: - 1 cup pureed pumpkin / squash (canned will also work) - 2 scoops of @bethanyspantry *DSP - 1/3 cup unsweetened cacao powder - mini chocolate chips to top *Digestive Support Protein by @bethanyspntry - it will not work with other protein powders like whey, collagen, hemp, rice, or bone broth protein - you must use this one which gives it volume and texture and acts as a flour replacement. Method: Mix first 3 ingredients until a thick batter forms, transfer into a lined glass dish, top with chocolate chips then bake in the oven at 350 F for about 30 minutes.
