What TCM tells about your cravings 👇🏼 If you tried everything to release your cravings, yet nothing seems to help. Look at the energetics behind your cravings. Your cravings CAN simply be a symbolic messenger of a deeper message. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, food cravings are related to an imbalance in energy within the 5 elements. Everything in this world is made up of these 5 elements: wood, fire, earth, metal & water, and these are associated with specific organs. When there is an imbalance, it can affect the related organs and eventually, if not corrected, the surrounding organs as well. Even unhealthy craving can point you to what your body truly needs. So listen to your cravings, choose a healthier alternative to the craving and nourishment that will help correct the imbalance while also addressing the emotional + spiritual root.
