Hands down one of the best âDesi Pubsâ in Melbourne, where your beloved classic English pub meets all your favourite Indian dishes. Restaurateur Jessi Singh, brings you @daughter_arms, a delightfully warm and stylish British-Indian Gastropub, where without a doubt, when it comes to unique dishes, itâs one of the best pubs in the city. Of course, thereâs the Indian Roast of the Day served with chips, onion bhaji, samosa and roti, but the eclectic menu of dishes such as butter chicken pie, steak and chips, spinach and paneer pijja and Kashmiri lamb ribs is enough reason to keep you coming back for more! A brilliant city spot and the perfect way to experience Londonâs Desi pub scene in the heart of Melbourne!

In a small, quiet little town in Victoriaâs High Country where life is beautifully slow and calm, you will quickly discover that a perfect little dose of excitement awaits at every corner! This is Milawa, in the King Valley wine region, where your most idyllic stay is at the renowned Lancemore Milawa Estate. Stay, eat, drink and play throughout the captivating property, whilst taking in everything the region has to offer. From hot air balloon rides, local winery visits and cellar door tastings, to the many culinary delights that Milawa has to offer. Itâs a perfect destination for a true getaway, that will instantaneously whisk you away from the everyday hustle and bustle of city life.

Stay and play at Lancemore Milawa and see the King Valley as youâve never seen it before with Goldrush Ballooning. Inhale the majestic vistas of the High Country on a magical hot air balloon ride that will leave you breathless! The serenity and calm high up in the sky will captivate you and when youâre back on the ground, you will be spoilt with a hot a la carte breakfast back at the Merlot restaurant at Lancemore Milawa. If a hot air balloon ride has been on your bucket list for some time, now is the time to treat yourself! Go onâŚ.do it!

If you thought hatted chef Nicholas Deligiannis was doing some great things at ground level, just wait until you see what he can do âMid-Air!â This is @midairmelbourne, the cityâs latest rooftop restaurant and bar. Sleek, chic and alluring, Mid Air is set within the boutique hotel that is Melbourne Place on bustling Russell Street, where, amongst gorgeous architecture and stunning views of the city, you can experience a culmination of Mediterranean flavours from the sun-kissed fare of Greece, Turkey, Spain and Italy, finished with elevation from the French culinary repertoire. If you know Nick, he loves to cook what he loves to eat and if youâre familiar with that, then youâll know that what heâs bringing to the table at Mid Air is nothing short of perfected indulgence! Yet another city rooftop favourite, Mid Air should be high on your list this Summer!

Every little detail makes this one of my favourite new places, where just about everyone is eager to secure a reservation and for good reason. Welcome to Melbourneâs newly opened @maison_batard, where you can enjoy a divine menu celebrating French culture, with a nod to Melbourneâs golden era of hospitality, in one of the most extravagant dining rooms in the city.

Go for the Hoppers, stay for the cocktails! Itâs a night in the tropics when the bartenders take centre stage in this joint! Enjoy classics with a Hopper Joint twist, like the Negombo Negroni with coconut oil and bitter orange, or the Sapphire Margarita with blue curacao and gunpowder. Take my word for it, order some âshort eatsâ, a Hopper Set (the Prawn Curry side is to die for!) and let the boys whip up your go-to cocktail (or two!) Itâs most certainly a night to remember! đ¸

Just a little over half an hourâs drive from Melbourneâs CBD, youâll discover @lavettaristorante, a stunning and sophisticated Italian restaurant and bar nestled within the scenic vista of @marnongestate. Set against rolling hills and the picturesque backdrop of the Macedon Ranges, La Vetta offers a warm balance of European tradition and contemporary interiors and this is reflected in the menu too lead by renowned chef Greg Feck. The menu is indulgent as it is refined with standouts like the fermented potato focaccia and Acciuga - a tin of Sicilian rolled anchovies with capers, the Ora King Salmon served in a charcoal waffle gelato-style, La Vettaâs very own hand-folded and âfatto in casa (homemade) selection of pastas, a succulent selection of âManzoâ (Beef) and of course âDolceâ for every type of sweet tooth! If youâre in the mood for an expertly-constructed dining experience with white tablecloths but none of the fuss, then this is the place for you!
