I never thought in a million years I would be on a TV show. This past weekend, I was incredibly proud of overcoming my fear of being on TV, mainly filmed by an entire film crew and filming for a large production. I am so used to filming on my phone, and seeing these big cameras made me very nervous. I told myself this is the day to overcome my fears and just do it. Do it because I will never have a TV debut if I don’t, and do it so my mom can watch me on TV. I had a lot of fun working 10+ hours in the studio and doing this entire film without a script. I trusted my improv skills, and it really paid off. I was surprised by how natural and authentically raw it was. YES I did really make a song on set with the best local r&b artist I know @lonelyboyxxo ❤️ I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire Shifter Entertainment team for giving me this incredible opportunity. Your inclusion of me in this show and the warm, supportive environment you created on set made all the difference. I’m eagerly looking forward to sharing the show, ‘A Date in the Life’, with you all. A good Sunday brunch are hard to come by and this spot just does it right! Visit @coqlicorne in Gatineau only minutes away from Ottawa. It looks like a house but it’s really a hidden restaurant. Cozy little spot with 2 floors and great service. The brunch menu is between $22-$24 and the quality of the dishes were superb. 3 dishes we ordered, we LOVED. Yes to Grilled cheese on French toast with smoked duck smothered in blueberry jam with a side of breakfast potatoes. Yes to their blood sausage and it was a great portion! and yes to the burrata toast with pesto, tomato confit topped with poached eggs was so good.
