Stress, illness, grief, anxiety, being busy, a new sleep schedule, recovering from dieting or disordered eating…so many factors can be at play when it comes to hunger signals. But none of these are a reason (nor an excuse) to skip out on eating. Our bodies really do need energy, always, and it’s our job to take care of them when they can’t help us decide when, what, or how much. Here are five ideas for what to go for if you find yourself without a strong appetite, or feeling like β€œnothing sounds good”: 1. Foods you loved as a kid (cereal, pop tarts, toaster waffles, mac and cheese, nachos…) 2. Foods you can sip on (a smoothie filled with all the stuff, not just frozen veggiesπŸ™ƒ) 3. Classic combinations (PB&J, toast with banana and PB, eggs & toast…) 4. Foods that comfort you (Consider anything that brings you that warm fuzzy feeling!) 5.
