I remember at first Mike’s mum was not keen on the idea at first. She said ‘Mike, you’ve got to such a good place in your career? Why are you leaving it?’ ‘We want to see the world’ seemed like a crazy thing to say, but it was the truth. I felt like there was so much for me to see and do in this life. Bizarre, really, but there’s always been such a strong pull to do something crazy spectacular. To go on an adventure… This is our story! At first… No job. No income. Just exploring the world and kinda terrified to do it. 500 days ago we left home and I was full on sobbing. Wondering why on earth we were leaving everything behind. It’s scary! And now I’m actually earning money from Instagram. I can earn a living from it. It’s such a bizarre concept for me. I was consistent with my dreams but did I actually think it would ever happen? Honestly, not really. Also, you don’t need to be a travel blogger to earn money whilst travelling the world. There’s so many ways you can do it. Sit on the right side of the plane if you’re flying from Europe, left side of coming from North or South America. Insane. No words. 🌊 Dyrhólaey – Dramatic cliffs, wild ocean, puffins if you’re lucky! 💦 Gjáin & Gjúfrabúi – Hidden waterfalls you can literally walk inside – magical. 🌅 Sky Lagoon – A dreamy infinity pool with THE most epic sunset views. 💧 Seljalandsfoss – That iconic waterfall you can walk behind. Absolute must! ⛪️ Hallgrímskirkja – The coolest church ever + panoramic views of Reykjavík. 🌈 Chromo Sapiens – Trippy art installation.
