10-Day NZ Itinerary (COMMENT “NZ MAP”) ⬇️ 👋 I’m @raimeetravel and I help you travel smarter with actionable & detailed tips + guides! I created a full itinerary + things to do at each stop along the way + my hotel recommendations for you! It’s super detailed and also includes my map of saved locations. Some highlights from my trip: 🧝🏻♀️Visiting Hobbiton 🏔️Fiordland National Park 🏞️ Mt. Cook National Park 🌃 Queenstown in general!!! ⛴️Overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound 🚵🏻♂️ Wanaka!!! 🥐FergBAKER in Queenstown! ⛰️ Isthmus Peak hike! 🍿 Cinema Paradiso in Wanaka (just go, trust me) Comment “NZ map” and I’ll send you the PDF guide I created 🫶🏻 Let me know if you have any other New Zealand travel questions! #Newzealand #newzealandtrip #newzealandroadtrip #southislandnz

Americans NEED to take these steps before going abroad!👇 👋 I’m @raimeetravel and I help you travel smarter with actionable, detailed tips & itineraries! I have a 9-5 job but travel the world whenever I can and show you how to do the same 🫶🏻 I got the inside scoop at the @statedept Travel Creator Open House on how to stay safe, avoid scams, and travel smarter!! Here’s what you need to know: 💬Comment LIST and I’ll send you my pre-trip checklist with ALL the links & tips! 1️⃣ Entry Requirements: Always check passport validity, visas, or authorization forms (like the new one for Europe starting next year). Don’t skip this step! ✈️ I recently assumed I’d be fine to enter New Zealand without anything but turns out I needed an authorization form and I could have been denied entry!!! 😅 2️⃣ Safety Info: On Travel.State.Gov (@travelgov), you’ll find: * Safety levels by region (some areas might be safer than others). * Maps & tips to avoid common scams (did you know about the dating app scam in Colombia?). * Even info on roads/highways to avoid. 🚧 3️⃣ Local Laws: Did you know you’re subject to the laws of the country you’re visiting? Many Americans get detained abroad over laws they didn’t know about … including things like carrying medications that are totally legal here BUT might not be abroad! Read up to avoid mistakes! 🛑 4️⃣ Pro Tip: Enroll in STEP (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program) for real-time alerts on protests, safety concerns, and new laws in your destination. It’s like a safety lifeline while you travel! 🛡️ Other must-knows: 📍 You can renew your passport online now! 📍 Travel.State.Gov has resources for emergency passports! 📍 Always get travel insurance—your credit card may not cover enough! Do you have any other questions about staying safe, visas, or travel prep? I learned a lot and can answer some below! Also shout out to all the AMAZING travel creators I met here 🥹 @kevindroniak @journeyswithkris @ncolphillip @maxmilespoints @zacharyburrabel @paigesecosky @cici.inthesky Comment LIST and I’ll send you my pre-trip checklist with ALL the links & tips! 🌍✨ . .

If you need a break from reality too… 👋 I’m @raimeetravel and I help you travel smarter with detailed tips & itineraries! I have a 9-5 job but travel the world whenever I can 🫶🏻 …these are some of my favorite other-worldly destinations (that can also be pretty budget friendly!) My other love outside of travel is fantasy + sci-fi books & films — I mention a few of my faves here because they truly do inspire where I travel!! When I have to fly through a metal tube in the sky…I want it to be worth it!!! 💬Comment ‘MAPS’ and I’ll send you my maps for all of these destinations! Where else would you add? ✨🏔️🧝🏻♀️ . . . New Zealand travel, Ireland travel, wild Atlantic way, Mexico City, Japan travel, Moorea travel, French Polynesia, Oxford England, Salt Lake City

*NEW* travel updates + TSA rules for 2025 👀 Let me know if you have any questions on these! ✨I’ll be sharing the latest & specific details as we learn more about the ETIAS for Europe travel later this year! . . . Travel news, travel rules, tsa, tsa rule, 2025 travel

I’d never heard of this destination before?! You NEED to take this European road-trip at least once in your life!! This was one of my favorite destinations I visited in 2024 and I can’t wait to return. If you love road trips, beautiful landscapes, colorful towns and friendly locals (and fantasy ANYTHING ✨📕🎥)— you need to plan this trip. It’s also a GREAT off-season place to visit - which is my personal favorite time of year to travel. Have you been? Where are some other underrated places around Europe!? #FillYourHeartWithIreland @tourismireland #sponsored

These places are too good to NOT re-visit… what do you think? ⬇️ Do you prefer to always visit somewhere new? ✨ Since I always have limited PTO, it can be hard for me to actively choose to re-visit destinations when I have so many other places on my bucket list… BUT ultimately I’m not trying to check off a certain number of countries or even visit them all & I truly LOVE going back to a place I’ve already been. 👇Where are the places you love revisiting or want to revisit?!

Skiing abroad > skiing in 🇺🇸! & yes, you can find affordable flights to Japan too👇 👋 I’m @raimeetravel and I help you travel smarter with actionable, detailed tips & itineraries! I have a 9-5 job but travel the world whenever I can and show you how to do the same 🫶🏻 FLIGHTS ✈️ I recently found $435 round trip tickets to Japan on United for Jan/Feb… which was the same price as flying to Colorado or Montana or Utah! Turn those price alerts on with Google Flights!!! Also check fares on the budget carrier that flies to Japan — Zip Air! *also if you have credit card points & miles you can get to Japan for nearly free using your points and transferring them to fly United, ANA through Virgin Atlantic, Singapore Air, American Airlines, JAL, Delta. TRIP DETAILS 👇 📍 Where: Hakuba Valley — another great option in Japan is Niseko (these are the touristy ones but there are also less touristy and even cheaper options too) 📅 When: I went in February 2024 & best time to go is Dec-March 🏨 Accommodation: Rented a house with @airbnb + used Marriott points for a hotel. There are tons of affordable options! 🚆 Transport: We flew into Tokyo, then took a bullet train to Nagano for $50 + a quick bus to Hakuba for about $20 🎟️ Tickets: Hakuba allows you to use an @epicpass or if you purchase individual tickets online it’s about $60USD/day! 🎿 Gear: I brought my gear but my friends rented boots/skis/poles/helmets and it cost about $40-$50/day which is also much less than renting gear in US (in my experience and based on my research gear rentals usually cost $100/day+ at comparable resorts) Depending on how you plan your 2025 ski trip, you CAN make it more affordable in Japan — and also some places in Europe!!! I love planning an international trip around a ski trip for this reason! & this should go without saying but pleas be a respectful traveler. Don’t be entitled. Don’t be rude. Don’t be loud. Respect this amazing culture and you will have the best time🫶🏻🇯🇵🍜 Let me know if you have any questions!!

I do these each year to travel more for less! & I think they’re all very doable no matter your budget or vacation time… I’m not much of a reoslutions person… but when they’re very specific & actionable like this I think they can be helpful so I wanted to share! HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎈🎊 !!!! I’m wishing you all a safe & fun start to 2025 — I hope I can help you take your dream trip this year!

The last one is my fave & everyone should do it 🥹!! If you are thinking about what might be worth spending on for your 2025 travel, I hope these can give you a little bit of practical inspiration ✨ What was your best travel splurge of the year??!

You should be following these 5 travel rules… I live by these rules because they have helped me travel more comfortably, more often, and for less money overall. I also think many of these help OTHER people travel better too — and I’m all about that 🥹 📌 Part 1 of this series is pinned to my Reels tab! Any questions on any of this? Let me know!!👇

My most-used & useful travel apps of 2024… starting with @resortpass ! #ResortPassPartner I traveled more than ever this year for work and this was app was SO helpful for many reasons: 🔑 got me access to luxury resorts to hangout at & enjoy the amenities during long layovers ✈️allowed me to upgrade my trips to get the luxury experience without paying crazy luxury hotel prices for overnight stays 💆🏼♀️I used this app to book luxury massages & facials 🍹AND for relaxing daycations near me since my apartment has zero amenities!! Stay tuned for more of my fave apps & comment PASS to get my link to download @resortpass!!

How I prioritize & afford more travel each year👇 I always do a version of this process at the end of each year to make sure I am accomplishing my travel goals — even when I have a full time job. Tools I use to plan: @notionhq for itinerary planning + budgeting + keeping track of all my travel accounts. @pointme for figuring out the best way to use my credit card points&miles. @thriftytraveler for getting alerted about amazing cheap flight deals. 2025 Planner calendar — 🔗 in my storefront I know I won’t be able to take ALL the trips I’d like to take, but I’m excited to see where the deals lead me! ✈️What places are on your 2025 bucket list? . . . Let me know if you have any questions about planning & I’ll try to help!
