TRYING NORTH LONDON’S FAMOUS DESI PUB 🇮🇳 🍛 Tamil Prince have established a reputation of class and it’s only been open for a couple of years. A former old pub has been refurbished to serve cracking Indian small plates and amazing roti’s. I wouldn’t say this comes across as a ‘boozer’, where you’ll go and stand onsite with a bees hive of people. It’s more of a restaurant and I imagine in the summer people will congregate around the seating outside. Love how you can see into the kitchen to see the chefs are work. The wood was all very good. The onion baji’s, the dosa, the ocra fries, lamb chops and the paneer butter masala were my favs but everything had a lovely level of space was cooked perfectly. HUNTING FOR THE BEST CHEAP EAT IN LONDON 🍩 🍰 @littlepuddinglondon have reinvented the bread and butter pudding with donuts and croissants. I absolutely love it - take an English staple and just elevate it. I absolutely loved the pistachio and white chocolate donut pudding as well as the sticky toffee (the flavours change every day) but the crossiant really stole a piece of my heart. So good. These guys have only been trading in Seven Dials for a few months, they have one small oven to make their goods from! HUNTING FOR LONDON’S BEST ROAST DINNER 🍽️ 🥩 We are at the Grazing Goat by @cubitthouse for their family style sharing platter. Just want to mention how good the portion sizes are here with their normal roasts too - you can get half a chicken with stuffing and all the trimmings for £26. For this roast you need 4 people and it’s £28 a person and comes with the trimmings. I did order extra cauliflower cheese and creamed leaks too which were banging. You can pick the meats so could have double steak and chicken if you wanted but I tried everything. 🌟 If you can’t take a date, take a mate! LONDON’S NEWEST PIZZA SLICE SHOP 🍕 For the past 5 years, if you wanted a @breadstall pizza you had to venture down Northcote Road in Clapham Junction, where you’d find a mobile unit on the street and dough being made from scratch each day. Now they have their first bricks and motor site in soho and my god is it good. Top 2 pizza’s I’ve had to date, the biga dough is the real deal, it looks like a Neapolitan pizza on steroids but the base remains super crispy as well as the puffy crispy crusts. BEST OF LONDON GUIDE FOR UNDER £20 😋 💰 London can be very expensive, but you can find some amazing eats and not break the bank! ❤️ 1. @dishoom - a known restaurant but their breakfasts remain my favourite. That wrestlers naan wrap just hits differently. 2. @schnitzelheaven - £12 for their huge veal schnitzel will fill you up for the whole day and it’s the best schnitzel I’ve ever had (admittedly I haven’t tried many but this was incredible) 3. @fortitudebakehouse - still remains by favourite bakery for the second year running, you will not have a bad pasty here, everything is 10/10 4. @thewhitecrosspub - known as the pub that floods during high tide. Make sure you check the tide times before you visit as it only happens a couple times a week but it’s super fun! 5. @noodleinnuk_ - I can’t believe how crazy this went. The reel posted earlier in the year received over 15m views and now there is a constant queue down the street. 6. @beigel_bake - still the best cheap eat in London, the fact you can get these beigels 24/7 is nuts. 7. @hotbirdldn - one of the cheapest fried chicken sandwiches in the big smoke and everything is served fresh to order. So good. 8. @theboringburger was the best burger I ate for the whole of last year. Jamie makes everything from scratch, from the burger buns, to the cutting of the chips and even all the sauces (he makes the mayo from scratch too!
