A NEW cocktail bar, apartment hotel stay (perfect for a staycation), and a coffee shop all at @myroost! Located at @baltimorepeninsula, this place has some fabulous amenities. Here’s what I enjoyed: 🥂 @vesselbaltimore: This new cocktail bar features live music on Thursdays and Fridays (a live jazz band on Thursdays and a DJ on Funky Fridays), tiki-inspired cocktails, and small bites/snacks. They also made a solid espresso martini on my visit! ☕️ @littlewinggoods: The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was tasty! The latte was a bit on the sweeter side for my taste—next time, I’d try a simple espresso or cappuccino. They also offer lots of local brands and fresh food to shop. 🛏️ The hotel: The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with comfy beds and an apartment-style setup, including a kitchen and living room. The @lelabofragrances bath products were such a luxe touch! When the weather’s warmer, guests can enjoy the rooftop pool. Both short-term and long-term stays are available here. Thank you to Chris, Brookes, and the rest of the team for hosting me—I truly had one of my favorite stays of the year here! #Staycation #BaltimorePeninsula #BaltimoreBars #CocktailBars #HotelVibes #LeLabo #BaltimoreRestaurants #WeekendGetaway

It’s been a while since I’ve said hello sooooo…HI! 👋🏾 💕 Sharing a little bit about why I started blogging and what to expect on @charmcitytable! My account gives you a little bit of everything: personal favorites, new restaurants, upcoming Baltimore events, reviews, recaps, the occasional ad (I do mark my sponsored content as such), & more! If you’re like me and enjoy trying different spots, seeing what’s new, you’re in the right place! When I post a restaurant or event, please read the captions and review my story highlights for more information. Not every place is a “must try.” There are a lot of assumptions that come with posting food content with “restaurant review accounts” being the latest trend so want to be clear that I don’t think every restaurant I visit is just the best place ever. That being said, I’m a person who loves variety and enjoys different dining experiences for different reasons. Example, there are places I LOVE for happy hour but not necessarily for dinner. If you’re one of those folks who doesn’t eat out a lot but wants a strong recommendation, if you see a spot on here that catches your eye, I recommend checking on Google reviews or yelp reviews to get a better feel for what to expect in terms of what menu items are consistently good. If you’ve read this far, here are 3 restaurants I am loving at the moment: ✨@puerto511chef ✨@the_empanada_lady ✨@bayside_cantina (for happy hour) If you’re new here, WELCOME, thanks so much for following along, and happy eating!💕 #baltimorefoodblogger #charmcitytable #introduction #foodie

This hot, new Baltimore restaurant is serving a fully plant-based menu, mocktails, cocktails, and more: @barveganatl. I attended the grand opening, and first impressions were great! It’s the sister concept to @pinkycole’s @sluttyveganatl and it’s Bar Vegan’s second location (first one is in Atlanta). I loved the modern, elevated atmosphere with a DJ and found the menu options both approachable and delish. Here’s what we tasted: 🍹IM SOLO: A strawberry cocktail with tequila and Prosecco. It mostly tasted like Prosecco, and I couldn’t pick up much of the strawberry or tequila. 🍹STRAWBERRY BOURBON SMASH: My favorite cocktail of the evening! It’s pretty sweet, but try it if you like strawberries maple, lemon, and bourbon. 🍽️MAPLE GLAZED BRUSSEL SPROUTS: Lightly charred with a sweet maple glaze. 🍽️ONION RINGS: Perfectly crispy and served with a delicious “crab” sauce. this pairing! 🍽️STEAK FRIES: Classic, thick-cut fries. Solid and satisfying. 🍽️JERK KABOB: Grilled oyster mushrooms, peppers, pineapple in a sticky sauce. While not a traditional jerk flavor, it was very tasty. 🍽️ANGELA’S CAKES: pair their fried Oreos with @cajoucreamery’s Bourbon Pecan ice cream ✨ I also saw @richjuicebar, a local juice bar, has their apple pie cider and a green juice on the menu here! 💕 Prices- Starters: $12–$14 Mains: $16–$24 Cocktails: $16–$18 Mocktails: $7 Have you checked out this spot yet? If so, let us know what you think! #NewRestaurant #BaltimoreRestaurants #VeganBaltimore #BarVeganATL #BaltimorePeninsula #CharmCityTable #PlantBased #BlkFoodBaltimore

Take a DJ class in Baltimore and the DMV with @raisenationdmv! I was invited to check out this beginners workshop and it was a good time! @djjuniorchuck taught our group the basics of beat matching, blending, and scratching. We played around with house music, R&B, pop, and hip hop. 🎧🎶The session was 1.5 hours long and was just challenging enough to be entertaining and to walk away feeling like you learned something interesting. I thought it was a fun solo adventure and date idea. Private classes and group/corporate party rates available too. Classes start at $55 per person in Baltimore. They offer classes in the DC area as well. For more information and tickets, check out the link in my bio/profile. Thank you so much to the Raise Nation team for having me! #ThingsToDoInBaltimore #ThingsToDoInTheDMV #DJWorkshop #DateNight #FunActivities #SoloDate

Revisited a favorite spot of mine for pastries and lattes: @sacre.sucre! This was my first time actually spending time inside their newer Fells location (which is almost a year old). The seating area is pretty spacious, artful, and relaxing. The French pastries are truly next level, both in taste and presentation. Here’s what I enjoyed on this visit: ✨ Dulce de Leche Éclair – Light, creamy, and sweet. Loved it! ✨ Kouign-Amann – My favorite in the area! Buttery, caramelized, flaky, and incredible. ✨ Monkey Bread – Sticky, spiced, and a bit denser than the others. Wasn’t a huge fan of the texture so would skip next time. ✨ Butterscotch Latte – I will always try a butterscotch latte that’s served iced and theirs is very good! Up there with some of the better ones I’ve had. ✨ I didn’t have the Matcha this time but I think the Matcha is delicious here. Pastries range from about $5-$15 and drinks from about $5-$8 (subject to change). Note: There’s a 2-hour seating limit in their café. If you’re into pastries or want to try a new spot, I think most people would like their offerings. Have you been to this spot yet? If so, let us know what you think! #Baltimore #ThingsToDoInBaltimore #BaltimoreEats #FrenchPastries #HiddenGem

Visited the new @pattersonpins, a friendly neighborhood bar and game lounge in the Patterson Park area. [AGES 21+] I had the chance to preview the space a few weeks ago, and thought it was cute! Upstairs, @shaunpointonepercenter and the team are mixing craft cocktails and alcohol-free drinks in the small bar area. There’s NO food menu but guests are welcome to bring in small bites/bar food. We had pizza from @johnnyrads. 🍕 Downstairs, there’s a casual lounge area with arcade games, two duckpin bowling lanes, and more. The cocktails range from $10–$12. The space used to be part of an iconic duckpin bowling alley that closed in 2022, so this opening is controversial for some locals. Overall, we found it to be a fun spot—like hanging out in a friend’s super upgraded basement. Have you checked out this spot yet? Let us know what you think! 📍2105 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21231 🎳 : $7-$9 🕹️: about $1 per arcade game (card system) ✨Private events: YES 🍽️Nearby restaurants for food: @johnnyrads @ekibenbaltimore @bklobsterbaltimore @kislingstavern 📩Invited by @blueplusbluemarketing Thank you 🫶🏽 #BaltimoreBars #ThingsToDoInBaltimore #DuckpinBowling #CocktailBar #Mocktails

[AD] Private suites, interactive games, new menu items, and more made our recent visit to @daveandbusters such a good time! We stopped by the Hanover (Arundel Mills) location and here’s what we liked: ✨ The Arena – Floors and walls are fully interactive in these rooms, and it’s just $5 per person to play right now. ✨ Social Shuffleboard – Play shuffleboard the classic way or try out their fun, alternative gaming options. ✨ High-Tech Darts – So many creative ways to play darts! We thought this gave the classic game a fun, modern, digital twist. The colorful animations and multiple game modes made this so much fun. We really got into it! ✨ Redesigned Bar Area – A sea of TVs! Plus, their $5 happy hour (Monday–Friday, 4 PM–6 PM) and late-night happy hour (Sunday–Thursday, 10 PM–close) caught my eye. I think the spot is great for a date night, a family outing, or a hangout with friends—especially if you love an arcade-style atmosphere. We were really into the upgrades! Baltimore has the BEST FOOD‼️ Some of my *personal* favorite savory bites from last year! I put the prices in the video for convenience but they are subject to change. ❤️ Oh Honey on The Bay @ohhoney_onthebay a street vendor, not a restaurant. There is often a wait so patience is required to enjoy this sandwich but the fish is fried to perfection!📍1118 Hollins St, Baltimore, MD 21223 Doppio Pasticceria @doppio_pasticceria - my favorite pizza in the city!📍 2600 N Howard St, Baltimore, MD 21211 Rooted Rotisserie @rootedrotisserie - next level dish!📍1116 Hollins St, Baltimore, MD 21223 YARD @yardbaltimore - these are sweet, a bit spicy and so delicious!📍1026 S Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21230 Marta Fine Food and Spirits @martabaltimore - this pancake is lightly crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. 📍 2127 E Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21231 Kitsch @kitsch.cafe- I love when simple things are extra delicious. My fav breakfast sandwich. 📍 500 W University Pkwy, Baltimore, MD 21210 📍 301 W 29th St Suite 1001, Baltimore, MD 21211 Ekiben @ekibenbaltimore - The dry spice is really good. I hope they keep it on the menu. 📍 1622 Eastern Ave. 📍911 W. 36th St.

Mussels and Shrimp Salad can be bought at 📍@bsqbaltimore, 875 Hollins St, or in DC at @unionmarketdc Bunny’s Buckets & Bubbles @bunnysbaltimore - the shrimp and grits are worth the price. The flavor and textures are divine. 📍 801 S Ann St, Baltimore, MD 21231 foraged. a hyper-seasonal eatery @foraged.eatery- loved the scallops and catfish here.📍1709 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21201 #BaltimoreRestaurants #CharmCityTable #BaltimoreFoodie #MarylandFoodie

I find myself in DC often for meetings, conferences, and exploring restaurants. On my most recent visit, I stayed the weekend at @themadisonhoteldc. [Hosted] Here’s what I enjoyed about this hotel: ✨ Complimentary valet ✨ Spacious, clean rooms and suites ✨ Solid breakfast buffet ✨ Fitness center ✨ We stayed in one of the Madison suites, and the views of the city were gorgeous ✨The location in NW DC was a 2 min drive (10 min walk from The White House) ✨Customer service was quick and very helpful @themadisonhoteldc invited me to stay for the weekend, and since I had a few restaurants & cafes to check off my list and wanted a change of scenery for some 2025 planning, I happily accepted their offer and truly enjoyed my stay! Overall, I liked the spaciousness of the rooms and amenities, the convenience and location. Would definitely stay here again. #WashingtonDC #TheMadisonHotel #LuxuryHotels #DCGetaway #DMVFoodie #Staycation #TravelPlanning
