Taking this time is such an important part of self-care that we all deserve to practice, especially when we’re under stress. Here are 5 ways you can tune in and calm your nervous system when you're feeling stressed: 1️⃣ Legs-up-the-wall pose – Relax by lying on your back with your legs up the wall. This gentle inversion soothes your mind and eases tension. 2️⃣ Box breathing – Inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4. This rhythmic breathing calms your nervous system and brings focus. 3️⃣ Body scan meditation – Slowly check in with each part of your body, releasing tension from head to toe. Perfect for grounding and relaxation. 4️⃣ Positive self-talk – Remind yourself of affirmations and comforting thoughts.
