Would you stay friends with someone who constantly criticized your body? If the answer is no, then why do we speak to ourselves this way? The words we speak and think matter. So much so that in Proverbs 18:21 we are told, “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Body shame doesn’t lead to confidence. Picking yourself apart won’t make you love yourself more. And no amount of self-criticism will change how your body looks - or how you feel in it. True healing starts when you replace self-judgment with self-compassion. So the next time your inner critic speaks up, ask yourself: Would I say this to someone I love? If not, you don’t deserve to hear it either. Your body is not the problem. Be kind to yourself today. You are worthy of love, just as you are. đŸ€Ž Tag a friend who needs this reminder & share something you love about them! Day 23 - Every day in February we are working on making peace with your body. Would you speak to yourself as if you were someone you loved? Practice kindness today. #innercritic #bodyimagehealing #selftalk #speaktruth #faithbased #graciouswords #truth #bodyimagemovement

Losing weight won’t cure your body image issues. Maintaining the perfect diet won’t bring you peace. Achieving success won’t make you feel worthy. For so long, you’ve been told that happiness, peace, and worthiness are things you have to earn - through a smaller body, more discipline, or greater success. But what if that was never true? What if the joy, rest, and confidence you’ve been chasing were already yours - rooted not in your appearance or achievements, but in the One who never changes? You don’t have to keep striving. You don’t have to prove your worth. You are already worthy, already valuable, and already loved. Day 22 - Every day in February we are working on your relationship with your body. Today, remember the truth: you are worthy as you are. đŸ€ ✹ Ready to step into this freedom? My faith-based coaching program, Wonderfully Made, is here to help you heal your relationship with food, body, and self. Let’s walk this journey together. Healing your relationship with your body isn’t simple or easy. It requires unlearning, grieving, growing, and walking a new path. Some days will feel lighter and others will feel like you’re back at square one. The most important thing: you won’t feel this way forever. The discomfort is temporary, but the peace and joy waiting for you on the other side? That’s real. That’s worth it. Which slide resonated with you the most? đŸ€âœšâŹ‡ïž Day 21 - Every day in February we are working on making peace with your body. Today, a reminder that the journey to body image healing isn’t easy, but it’s so worth it. #faithoverfear #christianwomen #foodfreedom #wholenessoverperfection #bodyimagehealing

Late to this trend, but I love it so much. It’s amazing to see God’s faithfulness through the different seasons of life - the struggles, hardships, and changes. Just because you can’t see the way forward, doesn’t mean God hasn’t prepared it for you. He is with you and He can redeem every moment! Remember all the mountains you never thought you’d make it through? Day 20 - every day in February we are working on making peace with your body. Today, be encouraged! True healing is possible for me, and for YOU! #bodyimage #bodyimagehealing #trusttheprocess #Heisfaithful

Your body will change - because you are meant to change. Two years ago, I ran a 3:52 marathon. When I see that version of myself, I have two choices: I can spiral into shame and comparison
or I can remind myself that my worth isn’t in my body, my fitness, or my past achievements. If you’ve ever had a moment like this - where an old photo, memory, or milestone makes you question your progress - let this be your reminder: You are not failing. You are not “less than.” Your body and fitness level was never meant to stay the same. What does matter? Living in alignment with your values. Walking in obedience to what God has called you to. And if you’re doing that, you are exactly where you need to be. Have you ever struggled with this? Let me know in the comments! âŹ‡ïž Day 19 - Every day in February we are working on making peace with your body. Today, what story are you telling yourself? #foodfreedom #bodyacceptance #faithandwellness #graceoverguilt #yourbodywillchange #bodyimage #wonderfullymade

Dear body, I’m sorry. And thank you. đŸ™đŸ»âœšđŸ€ For years, I picked myself apart, measured my worth by what my body looked like, and treated my body like a project to fix. For years, I disconnected from my body, ignored what it was trying to tell me, and spoke harshly to it. And none these things led to freedom, healing, or health. The thing is, we all can agree that toxic relationships with others can be draining, stressful, and ultimately unhealthy, but we don’t often think about this through the lens of our relationship with ourselves and our body. Similarly, just like our relationships with other people, improving your relationship with yourself and your body takes time, patience, and kindness. There is no overnight fix and you must take conscious action to work towards a healthy relationship with yourself and your body. The good news: healing is 100% possible. So today, what will you choose? Will you choose gratitude for your body? Will you choose grace for your body? Will you choose to see yourself the way God does? He calls you worthy, loved, and wonderfully made. If you were to write a letter to your body, would you say? Day 18 - every day in February we are working on making peace with your body. Today, a letter to my body. đŸ€ #bodyimage #bodyacceptance #wonderfullymade #faithandbodyimage #bodyfreedom #christcenteredhealing

Ever catch yourself in a silent battle of comparison? You’re not alone. But here’s the truth: your worth isn’t measured by how your body looks next to someone else’s. Instead of tearing yourself down, what if you met yourself with the same kindness you give your friends? ✹ Celebrate what makes you uniquely you. There is no one else like you, and that is a gift! Day 17 - Every day in February we are making peace with our bodies. If you catch yourself in comparison, try this: 1. Recognize the lie. 2. Shift your focus. 3. Stop body checking. 4. Practice gratitude for your body. 5. Lean into truth!! If comparison is stealing your joy, it’s time to break free. Join me in Wonderfully Made, where we ditch the body shame and make peace with food and bodies. When I invited the Lord into my body image healing, everything changed. đŸ©·đŸ™đŸ» Body image is not a shallow issue. Our body image impacts our relationship with God, others, and the world around us. It impacts our physical, mental, and spiritual health. It impacts our ability to live at ease with freedom and presence. This week, remember that: đŸ™đŸ» You are created in God’s image. Meaning that your body is not just a vessel, but a reflection of His artistry and love. đŸ™đŸ»Shame is not from God - He calls you His beloved. This week, a challenge: đŸ™đŸ» What if instead of seeing your body as something to fix, criticize, or shrink, you saw your body as something to honor, care for, and appreciate? ♄ A body that’s stamped with the imprint of the Creator. Day 16 - Every day in February we are working on making peace with your body. Today we are reminded of the reality that you are created by God, on purpose and for a purpose. #wonderfullymade #bodyimage #foodfreedom #peacewithyourbody #bodyacceptance #faith #bodyimagehealing

Social media and diet culture have created a space where it’s normal and easy to worship your looks and your body. We are led to believe that what our bodies look like is the most important thing about us. And that pursuing a “dream body” at all costs is a noble endeavor. But this is a trap. And it is far far from the truth. Yes, we are called to steward our bodies well! But there is a difference between pursuing health and obsessing over food and your body. It’s possible to care about your health and your appearance without it being all consuming. It’s possible to pursue weight loss or body composition changes without shame, restriction, or obsession. I hope today you remember that your body is GOOD. It’s a good gift and a blessing from a kind Father. đŸ™đŸ» What have you lost in the pursuit of your “dream body”? Day 15 - Every day in February we are working on making peace with your body. Today, let’s consider the cost of pursuing a “dream body”. #bodyimage #wonderfullymade #dreambody #yourbodyisgood #bodyimagehealing
