🤎Day in the life of someone who lives a very quiet little life🤎 The day started with lots of prepping for all the recipes I was creating today and I cracked on with filming. I took nana and gramps their food for the week. After that the wellies went on and I took the dogs around the fields and we picked some blackberries so I could come home and make some crumbles for them. Mum bought us some gorgeous flowers and a watering can and we headed back home. I gave myself a lovely shower and used some of my new products before cuddling into bed and watching my comfort show friends before falling fast asleep. A busy but a good day! Recipe for Crumble is: 300 Grams Apples 150 Grams Blackberries 2 Tbsp Caster Sugar 1-2 Tbsp Lemon Juice 6 Tbsp Flour 3 Tbsp Butter 3 Tbsp Caster Sugar Mix the fruit with the 2 tbsp sugar and lemon juice and pop into a dish. Rub together the flour, sugar and butter and add that over the fruit before popping it in the oven until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling at the edges! Serve with lots of custard and or ice cream and cuddle up on the sofa!

Phew that was a hard voice over to get through and I’m still Sobbing as I write this, I can’t believe the day has come! I got a call from my Literary Agent mid October letting me know Quarto Books wanted to publish my book and since then there have been happy tears, late nights, hard work and many, MANY misplaced commas. My love language has always been cooking, hoping that it would cheer someone up no matter how rubbish their day or week has been. Making people something warm and made with love has a way of making them feel slightly better about life even if only for a short while. To be given the chance to put my dream into reality is a feeling I cannot compare. Country comfort is a book you can open and serve comfort food in minutes. There are 5 chapters and the final chapter is ‘Baking Everything Better’, where all those sweet bakes are cuddled up together for a rainy day. There are so many people I want to thank but I am going to have to do a whole new post for that soon, my family and my team. You’re incredible and I wouldn’t be here writing this post without you! I will forever be grateful for this incredible opportunity and hope to inspire people to enjoy the process of cooking and sit down to laugh and love with their nearest and dearest! What to do when your Dishwasher is broken? Perfect the One Pan Recipes and this Peri Peri Creamy Prawn Pasta is so Simple but gets those Taste Buds Tingling🧡 Also before anyone says you can’t out Parmesan with fish please try this recipe first😂🙏🏼 Ingredients 🧡Drizzle of Olive Oil 🧡Knob of Butter 🧡170 Grams Raw King Prawns 🧡2 Tsp Peri Peri seasoning 🧡1 Tsp Paprika 🧡3 Sliced Shallots 🧡4-6 Cloves Minced Garlic 🧡250 Ml Double Cream 🧡60-80 Grams Grated Parmesan 🧡150-200 Grams Pasta Method 1. Get your olive oil and butter in a pan and throw in those prawns, sprinkle over the seasoning and cook for 2 minutes until the prawns are coloured. 2. Remove Prawns from the pan 3. Add your shallots and garlic to the pan and allow them to soften slightly for a couple of minutes 4. After this add your double cream and Parmesan and mix, let this bubble away with all the flavours in the pan until thick and a dark golden colour 5. Add in your cooked rigatoni pasta, mix through so the sauce is coating all of the pasta and finally mix through your prawns. 6. Serve up and enjoy, garnishing in Parmesan, chives and extra peri peri seasoning ! #onepan #15minuterecipe #comfortfood #onepandinner #pastarecipe

How to Cook the Perfect Steak From the Comfort of Your Own Home🧡🥩 It doesn’t have to be extortionate and bland, a steak should be bursting with flavour and everyone should be able to cook a simple steak. Diary Entry from a Very Normal Girl Living a Quiet Little Life🧡 - Today was a normal day where I got ready for the day, fed the chickens and let them out before putting the shopping away! I packed my basket and headed over to my Mums. I went to have a coffee and biscuit with my Nana and we had a chit chat before I walked over to mums and did some filming. I took the food to Nana and gramps and helped pop the shopping away and make some sandwiches before spending some time with my sister and then heading home.
