The Eustachian tube is a tube that runs from the middle ear to the back of your nose and throat. The Palatini muscles are responsible for opening and closing the Eustachian tubes to drain fluid from the middle ear and to balance the pressure on either side of the eardrum. With poor tongue posture, the Palatini muscles are not activated due to a lack of pressure on the 2/3rds of the palate. As a result, the Eustachian tubes have trouble draining, which can lead to a chronic ear infection. If it’s common for your child to get ear infections, here is a simple tongue exercise: Place the tip of your tongue against the hard palate, on the roof of your mouth just above your top teeth. Using suction, pull the rest of your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth. Allow your mouth to close. Hold it there, breathing normally (if possible). Hold for 30-45 seconds. Using a mouthguard that addresses tongue posture can triple the therapeutic effects. Breathe NATURALLY with the Functional Activator, link in bio ☝️ @posturepro @annetteverpillot . . . #picture #feet #health #animals #fitness #fitnessgoals#crossfit#fitnessmotivation #fitfam #gymlife #gym #sweatlife#training #workout #body #basketball#skincare#pictureoftheday pic#personaltrainer #tbt#bodybuilding #weights #feet #shoes #instagood

Did you know the root of your tooth isn’t just a “dead end”?   The pulsing energy at the root is part of your body’s intricate system of meridians pathways that connect your teeth to vital organs, muscles, and even your posture!     When a tooth is removed or damaged, it disrupts these meridians, potentially throwing your body’s alignment off balance.   This ripple effect can lead to posture changes, muscle compensations, and even organ dysfunction over time.   Comment “TEETH” 🦷 and we will send you our FREE eBook → A Guide to Effective Tongue Exercises   Check out jaw and body connection, link in bio ☝️   @posturepro @annetteverpillot   . . .   #eye#eyes#brain#t#tiktok #viral #tiktoki #looksmaxxing #fitness #fitnessgoals #crossfit#fitnessmotivation #fitfam #gymlife #gym #sweatlife #training #workout #body #basketball #pictureoftheday #pic#personaltrainer #weights #instagram #shoes #instagood

Our feet act as the foundation for our entire body, and their positioning can significantly impact the alignment and function of our hips. When our feet are properly aligned, the hips can move efficiently.     Imbalanced feet can lead to a domino effect, from your toes up to your spine. Flat arches or uneven weight distribution can strain the muscles in your legs, hips, and even your back. This strain can lead to discomfort and impact your ability to move efficiently.   When your feet are not properly aligned, muscles like the hamstrings, quadriceps, and glutes can become overworked or underused, leading to imbalances throughout your lower body. This can affect your posture, walking pattern, and even increase the risk of injuries.   Foot posture it’s about maintaining the harmony of your body’s musculature and posture.   By addressing foot imbalances, you can alleviate unnecessary strain on your muscles and promote better alignment and movement.   By removing any foot imbalance of our feet and ensuring proper alignment, we can enhance the function of our hips and core muscles, leading to better stability, balance, and performance in various physical activities.   Be mindful of your foot posture, and take the time to assess and address any imbalances or misalignments with feet eyes and jaw.   Your body will thank you for it! Your teeth do so much more than chew—they’re sensory powerhouses directly linked to the trigeminal nerve. Through a process called dentinal sensitivity, your teeth send constant signals to the brain about jaw position, alignment, and function. But what happens when teeth are missing? This critical sensory feedback is disrupted, forcing the TMJ (temporomandibular joint) to compensate. This imbalance can lead to improper tongue posture, which plays a crucial role in breathing, swallowing, and overall posture. Think of your mouth as the foundation of your body. When it’s misaligned, it can cause chain reactions throughout the body, including neck tension, spinal imbalances, and even headaches. Ignoring these connections can lead to long-term health issues you might not expect. Taking care of your teeth means caring for your whole body. Jaw and Body Connection, LINK IN BIO @posturepro

When the jaw is unbalanced, it can impact the upper part of your spine, specifically the first and second cervical vertebrae. This blockage can also affect the vagus nerve, which plays a critical role in innervating all our internal organs.   This interconnection is explained by Lovett’s law, which proposes that issues in the upper cervical vertebrae can influence the lower sacral region. Therefore, an imbalance in the jaw can impact the pelvis, pelvic organs, spine, knees, hips, and even the position of the feet.   And what influences the TMJ? Your tongue! The posture of your tongue significantly affects the muscles used for chewing. In addition to this, a Functional Activator is a great tool that can be used to improve neck posture through tongue positioning, lInk in bio☝️ Wanna learn how to fix your tongue posture? The arches of your feet are one of the most jam-packed and complex anatomical structures in your body and help with many things: • They allow for fine-tuned movements of the foot and toes in order to achieve stability and balance. • They act like a ‘core’ to help support the arch and hold it in place when weight-bearing. This helps maintain balance and control and prevents the foot from unwanted collapse. • They help the foot become stiff and rigid to create propulsion when walking, running, jumping, etc. They also help the foot become mobile/adaptable when needed. 5 Tips to Boost Proprioception: 1. Barefoot Balancing: This exercise engages the muscles in your midfoot, improving balance and stability. Try standing on one foot at a time while barefoot to give your feet a full workout. 2. Toe Yoga: This isn’t just for your toes. By lifting each toe one at a time while keeping the rest of your foot still, you’re also working out the muscles in your midfoot, which can improve your balance and overall posture. 3. Heel-to-Toe Walking: Walking heel-to-toe forces your midfoot to work harder to maintain balance, strengthening it over time. Plus, it helps train your balance and proprioception, which can improve alignment in your lower body. 4. Marble Pickup: Picking up marbles or small balls with your toes isn’t just a fun game. It also strengthens your midfoot and improves flexibility, leading to better balance and posture. 5. Ankle Inversion and Eversion: By turning your feet so that the soles face each other and then away from each other, you’re giving your ankles a good workout. This, in turn, strengthens your midfoot and improves your balance and posture. Remember, good posture starts from the ground up. Incorporating these exercises into your routine can help strengthen your midfoot, improve alignment in your lower body, and promote a healthier spine. Give them a try and feel the difference! Protect your teeth, protect your face! Your teeth shouldn’t deteriorate and if they do, they can heal just like any other tissue in the body. So, why don’t they? The key is providing the right conditions: Hydration: Saliva nourishes and protects your teeth. Drink water to help it do its job. Internal Fluids: Healthy blood and lymph deliver oxygen, nutrients, and clear waste from tissues. Lifestyle: Fresh air, sunshine, exercise, nourishing food, and good sleep are essential. And don’t forget dental hygiene! Food caught between teeth rots, feeding bacteria that release acids, damaging enamel: ✅ Rinse after meals. ✅ Floss daily. ✅ Use seawater or baking soda rinses to keep bacteria at bay.
