Staying fit and taking care of your mental health go hand in hand. Exercise is not just about your physical health it’s a powerful tool for mental well-being too. When you engage in fitness activities, your body releases endorphins, the feel good hormone. Regular exercise can boost your mood, improve sleep quality, and increase self-esteem, all of which contribute to better mental health. I’m a huge advocate for mental health which I put at the forefront of the classes ethos. Offering a safe, supportive and empowering environment. It’s essential to find exercise that you enjoy to help you stay consistent along the journey. 💪🏽❤️

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and the classes. You’ve helped me create something special. A huge community of women. I had a vision of how I wanted the classes to be and you’ve all helped me exceed it. We’ve created a unique space for fitness. A space for all fitness levels. Exercises can be altered to make it easier for you or harder for you. Each woman is hyping the next woman up. New people are always hugely welcomed by the existing clients. It’s an atmosphere my younger self would have loved when I was clueless about the gym. There’s a lot behind the scenes you don’t see. I’ve had multiple melt down moments over the last few months 😂 feeling overwhelmed & exhausted from carrying it all on my shoulders. However, the lovely @sally_naughtonn has dived straight into the deep end and taught classes for me. Thank you for welcoming her with open arms, making her feel comfortable and I think we can all agree she is great! The timetable will be slightly changed for summer as things quieten down a little bit with people on holidays. I will be taking away Wednesday 7.30pm Step Aerobics & we will be adding Tuesday 9.30AM circuits & Wednesday 9.30AM Legs, Bums & Tums. (Weds eve will come back after summer) Again, a huge thank you. Without your support it wouldn’t be what it is now and with your continued support we can keep growing, expanding and delivering more for all of you 🤍

STEP AEROBICS 💃🏽🪩 Step aerobics classes are a dynamic and engaging form of exercise that focuses on cardiovascular fitness and strength training. Participants use a raised platform, a step, to perform a variety of choreographed movements, stepping up and down in rhythm to upbeat music. These classes offer a fun way to burn calories, improve coordination, and tone muscles, particularly in the legs and core. The class is lead with high energy and upbeat music through sequences that can range from simple to complex, catering to different fitness levels. The group setting fosters a sense of community, making it easier to stay motivated and push through challenging routines 💃🏽

Another one in the bag 🥳 Qualifying in pre and postnatal exercise felt essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of my clients. With the nature of women-only classes it is inevitable to be dealing with clients both pre and post natal. This allows me to tailor workouts that support their specific needs by providing guidance on safe exercises, modifications, and recovery strategies. Having a community where pre and post natal clients can feel supported, heard and empowered is important to me 🤍

Did someone say Pilates? 🧘🏽♀️🥲🫶🏼 Delighted to announce Pilates will be joining the timetable for Built By Alice. I’ve been working behind the scenes the last few months to bring Pilates to you🫶🏼 Doing all the classes myself while studying & practicing at the weekends has been tough but will be all worth it when we’re all Pilates queens 👸🏽🥲 Pilates emphasises core strength, encourages alignment & good posture, promotes flexibility, emphasises slow, controlled movements while integrating breathing techniques into the workout. I’m very excited 🫶🏼🫶🏼 Spaces will be limited. All bookings for Pilates through the app only 🧘🏽♀️

I’m not usually one for before and after posts but I think Sylvia deserves some recognition. She had never stepped foot in a gym or a fitness class until a year ago. Although she was very nervous to start she is now a regular with us training 3x times a week 💪🏽 As a trainer, I can only do so much. It’s the dedication and consistency that got Sylvia where she is today. From never stepping foot in a gym before as she was too scared, to doing a variation of classes with us - Circuits, step & bodyblast. Now we don’t have enough weights for her to lift! 😂💪🏽 Sylvia you are absolutely glowing, a new woman. You radiate energy to others in every class you are in. You always push yourself and it shows. You should be so proud of yourself. Thank you for putting your trust in me a year ago 💪🏽 Our classes are not just about weight loss. Our classes are about the journey. Our classes are about your overall wellbeing, your physical and most importantly your mental health ❤️
