get ready with me for the gym! Been feeling soo refreshed after this morning routine lately #grwm #balance #slowdown
feeling pretty proud of my physique rn considering the amount of times I’ve been sick the past 6 months, the amount of travel I’ve been doing, and the thxgiving food and random stuff I’ve been eating 😌😌😌😌 staying locked in when life lets me has been working

Push day + core 😌 Shifting my focus from muscle growth to maintaining—and even downsizing in some areas—has been an interesting journey. It feels strange because I’ve spent years working hard to achieve the growth I’ve accomplished, and now it almost feels like taking a step backward. This shift isn’t just about physical changes, like adjusting the movements and weights I use; it’s also a mental challenge. Changing my routine and trusting that this new approach is the right choice feels difficult after being so focused on one goal for so long.
every day may not be good but there’s something good in every dayyyyyy 😌 PERIOD!!!!
slowing down to enjoy the sun🌞 if you ever feel like life is going too fast, one of my fav things to do is to count my senses. It’s a simple way to ground myself and bring myself back to the present moment. It’s a way to bring myself a step further away from any anxieties I’m experiencing, or to bring myself closer to appreciation I’m having for the moment I’m in. I love doing this especially on walks/runs outside, or if I’m having a good time in places I want to remember later on— like on the beach or hanging out with friends. The 5-4-3-2-1 Technique 1. 5 Things You Can See Look around and name five things you can see. They can be objects, shapes, colors, or anything in your surroundings. 2. 4 Things You Can Feel Notice and name four things you can physically feel. For example, the texture of your clothing, the floor under your feet, or the breeze on your skin. 3. 3 Things You Can Hear Tune into your environment and identify three sounds. They might be distant noises, the hum of a fan, or the sound of your own breathing. 4. 2 Things You Can Smell Notice two distinct smells around you. If you can’t immediately smell anything, think of scents you enjoy or take a deep breath near something like coffee, flowers, or a scented candle. 5. 1 Thing You Can Taste Focus on one thing you can taste, like a sip of water, a piece of gum, or the flavor of your last meal.
