Exotic Generation Asia 2024 - 🌟 Stars Category Winner/MVP 🥳 Feeling really proud of this routine and the effort that my team and I have put into creating this. Having been on a competition hiatus for 5 years, it was definitely stressful coming back into it but I knew that there was so much growth that I've made over these years that I wanted everyone to see.. and hence, Dionne @dionne_pxd and I agreed that we wanted to put on a show! This Purge inspired routine is a mixture of Doubles, Theatre, Hard and Flow style, and I hope everyone enjoyed seeing some of the different sides of my Exo style 🔥 My baobaez Dionne @dionne_pxd was really the true mastermind behind this routine, working with me tirelessly on the choreography to make sure the concept and dance made sense story-wise and the tricks/transitions had more "kick" to them. The prop ideas kept pouring in from her, from traffic cone warning backgrounds to LED Text changing boards, each further setting up this scene that we've envisioned (all while still thinking about how to transport them to Korean with a 20kg luggage limit 🤣) She even came up and made my gun holster prop so that I can dance, shoot, keep and dance again comfortably.. which btw is my favourite prop till this date! So cool and fun to use haha!! My make-up was also fully done by her! And of course, the extra big cherry on top is having her on stage dancing with me as my doubles partner, who still manages to nail every single step even after handling the set-up of the props both off and on stage (I don't even think she had time to warm up 🙈). Amazing dancing babe and all around, YOU ARE JUST AMAZING and this routine would not been what it is without you in it, figuratively and literally 💕 Lots of backend and forefront support came from her so that I can focus on training to get back in shape and condition my body for this routine and really, WE did it!! Of course, the AAS 🍑 in my DAAS Team, @sitdropper @alellee_pole @im.pole.sible ! Also, the sad realisation when it's been ages since you did something scary and you realise you are now a scaredy cat 🫥 Jokes aside, sometimes fear just makes tricks a lot harder than they actually are and honestly, if you are ever aiming for such tricks, I completely understand your struggles! That said, sometimes I am thankful for being so cautious as it helped me to train my brute strength and control to avoid face planting 🙈 Keep training hard and don't be shy to spam your mats! Starting pole does not have to be that difficult 🤣 Whenever I get asked about my job or when I have to introduce myself, the interaction is almost always like this.. and after years, I kinda got used to it but do still want to clarify that.. 👉🏻 Starting pole only LOOKS difficult but is honestly very easy to do. You will be starting at level 1, not jumping straight to level 10 🙈 👉🏻 As professionals, we have spent years working on our craft. We definitely did not start out at the level you currently see today. 👉🏻 STOP SAYING THAT YOU WILL BREAK THE POLE! Do you know how hard it is to actual do that? 🤣 And if you learn properly, you won't break on the pole either 🤣 Segway~ If you wish to not break on a pole and properly try out Pole Dancing, you may consider Angel Level (Level 1)! In this level, we will be teaching you the basics of pole dancing first and in time you will progressively work your way up the levels to tackle tougher and more impressive tricks that will make people tell you that they can't do what you do 😜 Angel Course (Level 1) Thursday, 750pm Sign-ups available on our website now! "We aim nowhere to get somewhere" - Masters-To-Nowhere Laoshi, Louis What started as a trollish comment became our Tagline for this fun class where anything can happen! Targeted to Master Level students or Students who are able/close to Handspring & Aerial Shouldermount, this class aims to let students experience different aspects of Pole and our Level classes! In this term itself, we have played with Dynamic Static Pole, Static Rotations, Spinny Flow with uncommonly used level class tricks, Flexy Tricks and more! Students get to experience and try out tricks/things that you never would have imagined trying, simple because we "anyhow aim" and got ourselves somewhere 😜 We are happy to announce that Masters to Nowhere (MTNW) is continuing for one more term in Term 4 and we have 1 more slot available! Join us: Friday, 645pm - 745pm Starting 18 July Do note that to ensure the class is of the correct level, there will be no selling of slots for this class.
