In celebration of this month being our brands’ 10th anniversary, I think it’s time for an updated ABOUT ME post! Yep, 10 whole years of an absolute honour documenting every family’s love and deeply personal moments. If you are new here, hiiiii!! Here’s a little about me 1. I’m a proud nerd, a geek and a scrappy hustler, holding a double masters in management, having pursued 8 years in HR before quitting to start Mommy Shots in 2014. Sigh, it’s been a minute. The acting career ended before it started. 2. We’ve also expanded to @mommyshotsacademy (no gatekeeping here) and @msbaproductions (hello brand owners!) in the last few years. 3. I picked up a camera a decade ago to document children’s entire childhood creatively and there isn’t a day I wake up dreading work. I’m so grateful for how lucky I am. 4. I love watching all kinds of films and I joke about how I’m ok to give up everything except my tv! It’s my little escape every night into a world that is full of wonder. 5. My goals are to be the best at what I do aaaaannnddd direct films too (someday)🧿 6. I’ve always been scared of dogs but I’m now an inch away from adopting a pet 🐶🤞🏻 7. I ran my first 10k a month ago and hoping (and training) to complete a half marathon this year 😅 (vlogs on @amritasamant_ ) 8. My ideal day would be getting a nice morning run in, followed by a great breakfast with friends (I’m that person now!) and lots of family time to fill my ♥️ 9. I kid you not - I still have nightmares of being at a shoot far, far away and discovering I’ve not carried batteries. I’ve now successfully transferred that paranoia to my lovely team 😂 (photographers, tell me you understand me!) 10. On a more serious note, evolution in the past few years has left in zen mode and at peace with where I am.
