Cheers to the New Year! 🥂 We hope your celebrations were filled with joy, good company, and exceptional wine.⁠ ⁠ Speaking of exceptional wine, let’s talk about the 2022 Oudiette, Coteaux Champenois HSS Les Hautes Sources Souris—the perfect bottle to kick off 2025 @champagne.oudiette!⁠ ⁠ The Coteaux Champenois Rouge is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grown in the Les Hautes Sources Souris vineyard in Beaunay. This cooler vineyard, planted in 1990, features limestone-rich soils. Fermentation spans five days, starting with a cold maceration, followed by 13 days of warm maceration. Maxime removes 20% of the seeds while retaining 10% of the ripe stems. ⁠ ⁠ The wine is then aged for 11 months in 228L oak barrels on its natural lees, adding to its complexity and depth. Bottled in December 2023, this limited production results in just 960 bottles produced.⁠ ⁠ If you have any questions regarding our imports, please email us at [email protected]. Why settle for a standard bottle when you can go big? Large-format bottles, like magnums, not only make a BIG statement but also age more gracefully and look better ;).
