Himeji Castle truly lives up to its World Heritage status. While its majestic presence is awe-inspiring in the daytime, the nighttime illumination reveals a whole new level of ethereal beauty. The pristine white walls bathed in moonlight, adorned with elegant Japanese patterns, and reflected in the meticulously designed pools create a scene straight out of a fairytale. Strolling through the illuminated castle grounds felt like stepping back in time to the graceful Edo period.
