HI! Just to say we will be CLOSED tomorrow (Tuesday 7th) as we had our Christmas Party last night, meaning no one is in today, as is only right + fair!! No fun to be in on the prep shift after 25 spicy margs the night before 🍸🍸🍸 Back to normal opening from Wednesday. Thank you for your understanding! We had a lovely time 💖

HIYA ✨ Just logging on before 2024 rides off into the sunset for a quick moment to reflect on what was our busiest & best year yet 🌝😎 Starting with a feature in a wonderful book (thank you so much @millykr), we got our first National Press feature, won an award, were nominated for a couple more, decided to take the plunge + open six days a week (and people turned up every single Tuesday 🤯), got caught up in PICKLEMANIA 🥒, and had a real #glowup thanks to our beautiful new branding 🪩 It goes without saying that I couldn’t have achieved all of this without my pastry coven 🔮🧙‍♀️ THANK YOU to the hardest working team in the biz: Katherine, Lydia, Nic, Beni, Liv, Eve, Justine & Beth – you’re genuinely all so great & it makes me so proud that people always comment on how friendly everyone is at LBs 🥹 I can’t wait to take you all out for teppanyaki & karaoke on Sunday (lol!!) 🎤💃🏻 AND FINALLY - I wrote it into the business plan five years ago that I wanted to build a community both inside and around the bakery, and I really feel like in 2024 we’ve seen the existence of that. I say it every bloody year but thank YOU for turning up and coming to see us, it’s so nice to share our silly little bakes with you everyday. And thank you to everyone who wrote these nice things on Google / took the time to message us over the last twelve months so that I had some cute things to share for the end of year post. Important festive opening hours info ✨🚨 It’s actually pretty simple this year!! We’re open an extra day on Monday 23rd, with the usual counter line up available as well as Christmas pre-order collections. Then Christmas Eve we will be open for a couple of hours with a limited pastry selection, and the final opportunity to pick up your webshop orders. 🎄🎁 we will then be CLOSED for a big old rest until Saturday 4th January 💆🏻‍♀️ We also won’t be taking any bespoke cake orders in that time, sorry!
