Wear your favourite blue swimwear/fancy dress, bring your best vibes and let’s dip the Janu-scaries away! Dip Club 2024 🪩 A massive shoutout to all our dippers—whether you’re a newbie or a Dip Club OG—for making this year the best yet. 🧡 From Beyoncé to Wicked inspired dips we’ve had a blast. We’ve devoured delicious doughnuts while soaking up the sun, and built friendships that go way beyond the waves. 👯‍♀️ We also launched our first-ever merch collection, and it’s been a vibe seeing you all in your Dip Club athleisure on the beach. We can’t wait to see what’s next! 👀 And who could forget The Dip Club Dunkathon? You crushed it, raising loads of money for our club, whilst making the most creative reels, posting stories, and doing a crazy amount of Dunks for the cause. 🌊 We’re beyond grateful to every single one of you for sticking with us through cancellations and supporting the hard work that goes into keeping this club rolling. Throwback to our 2nd Birthday 🎈🧡 🌊 📸 Photos on our website under socials! 🎂 Thank you @dontsweat_it_danielle for the most incredible cake!) 🪩 We really are only just getting started! We started as two of us dipping for our mental health and as part of our sobriety journeys and we are now a 15,000+ strong community. If you had told our younger selves that we would be running a cold water social group, we would have laughed you oot of the toon as we were so scared of the sea and hated cold water when we started! But we quickly became hooked and wanted everyone to know about this free therapy and dopamine hit we discovered! Our vision is to make cold water therapy accessible to as many people as possible. We have BIG plans, but we are a small volunteer run team. If you want to help us expand, set up a new club location or have skills that will wave us to new heights drop us a DM. We would love to hear from you. We appreciate your support and it really does keep the club running, we invest all the funds back into the club. Here’s my 5 top tips for winter sea dips! 🌊🥶 1. Always go with someone else. If you’re going solo, join a group dip instead. There’s @dipclubofficial who have social events in Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. 2. Keep an eye on the weather forecast, if it’s wild and windy the sea is likely to be dangerous. Don’t risk it! 3. Layers are essential. Pop a hat on for your dip. My @dryrobe Advance (ad - pr product @startfitnessuk) is perfect for keeping cosy from the elements on the North East coast, plus I can change underneath it. 4. Warm up with a hot drink afterwards. I take coffee in my travel mug. 5. Enjoy it!
