🥂Happy New Year 🥂 . No new year, new me spiel because I ain’t into that anymore. My body’s been through a lot over 2024 and I’m navigating getting the ‘old me’ back, rather than a new one ❤️‍🩹 . Not one to put my life on social media, but I feel if I’d have come across somebody like me on this little app I’d have been able to relate and find this journey a little more bearable. So here goes in a snippet: - I have recently been diagnosed with PMDD. After having a few polyps removed and an endometrial ablation, it was clear my womb wasn’t the biggest issue, my hormones are. - I now have gnrh analogue injections every 12 weeks which effectively put my ovaries to sleep and make my brain believe I’m in a menopausal state. - I have 50mg HRT patches - I take 20mg citalopram to help with the depression/anxiety and low mood, - I have gained another 2 stones in weight since January 2024. - due to excess weight gain my lipodema is so painful -due to the weight gain I’m miserable and have low energy levels. 💚So…. What am I doing about it??? 💚 -moving more -counting calories -limiting alcohol intake -playing netball -meditation when possible -making myself a priority; . Welcome to my page.
