At the height of Covid-19, we undertook a project to overhaul our outdoor space (which at that point was nothing but mega-weeds and a haven for carpenter bees). The goal was to create a chic and inviting environment so family and friends could safely unwind🥂 . With the help of master landscaper, @dimastery, we decided on a black and white theme (think French Riviera vibes) to make all the beautifully-curated plantings pop. Can’t wait to watch the garden bloom through the seasons 🌸 🌱 . @wallsandwires helped rescue the back of our house from a chipping yellow to a freshly painted white. He gave new life to moldy railings by power washing and then coating them in black paint. He also added smart outdoor lights that are controlled from an app, and speakers shaped like rocks hidden among the plants! 🎶 💡 . @victorian_renaissance built the horizontal fence, which became the base and backdrop for the rest of the project, especially after it was stained a bold black 🛠 🖤 . @chilewich, the chicest textile brand, sent two stylish and durable woven outdoor floor rugs for the deck and yard, each of which added warmth to this “open air living room.” No shoes required! 👣 . Finally, @roomandboard provided the white, round Adara fire table, which — when not turned on to add literal warmth to the space — doubles as a comfortable, aluminum coffee table...and is now frequently covered in wine glasses 🔥🍷 Thank you for following this backyard project!
