Hi everybody, we’ve had some good news tonight, part of the cordon on Main Street has been lifted & we are fortunate that we are okay to open our shop tomorrow. We’ll be open from 10am. We’d love you to pop in & see us, even if it’s just for a chat, a browse, a leg stretch or a dog walk. All the car parks including the Market Square are open, access is available to all the shops in-around Market Square & some of Main Street (currently stopping where the Natwest bank is - next door to us). We’re hoping the other shops will be able to open later this week once further assessments have been made. Kirkby Lonsdale - well what place to live or have a business, in these last few days i’ve been blown away by the sheer love, support & generosity of this community. I’m so very proud to be part of it. I had to share this with you all… what a fabulous Community to be part of…. these Firefighters are our Kirkby Lonsdale Voluntary Reserve Firefighters & they were first on the scene of the fire on Sunday morning. These cards were made by the children from the local Junior School to say thankyou to their Heroes ❤️🩷 To all the Firefighters who attended & other emergency services, We are all so grateful to you & so proud of you, thankyou. Once we have a further update on when Kirkby Lonsdale has returned to some form of normality we will let you all know. Part of the town & some businesses are still closed off. (Directly effected is Market Street & Main Street, the one way system). Some shops near the Market Square & surrounding streets are able to open. Thankyou for all your kind words & support, it is & will be greatly appreciated by all those effected. The immediate Kirkby Lonsdale community has been incredible… offering support, places to stay, their time, their love, their money, their support, their business knowledge… wow, you are a fantastic Community. Those further afield have also been supportive by sending messages, showing your support & talking about this beautiful town in such fond words. THANKYOU EVERYONE.
