I look at Formica mid century like the original IKEA. These are actually simple Mersman Tables. Oddly the tabletops are painted, they were painted in the same color with white that we actually refreshed- we also did some golf magic on the the feet as well as the dowel spacers. I am not sure how I’ll explain the paint - but this is not the first time I’ve encountered painted Formica. I am not sure what kind of ingredients they used in paint back in the day but it doesn’t chip and it looks extremely thick. Well this is my spin on already painted mid century.
