🌿Welcome to Vintage Haven! I'm Nicole, owner and curator for Vintage Haven Shoppe. You may also see glimpses of my husband, Sean, who assists with the "shipping department", and occasionally does Instagram "takeovers" when we are out sourcing.  Our virtual shop is based out of Northern NJ, and we ship to the US and Canada. You can find us here on Instagram and on Etsy (shop link in bio). Please scroll through this post to find out how to shop with us, including: invoice information, shipping timeframes, and shop policies. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot over a DM, and I will be happy to assist you.  Vintage Haven had been a dream for years, but in 2020, the stars aligned and the shoppe was formed. We kicked off the business at several in-person markets from July 2020 through 2021. Our first launch was on September 3, 2020 right here on Instagram. Bi-monthly launches turned into weekly sales, then we incorporated live sales in April 2022, and expanded onto Etsy at the end of 2023. We are so thrilled you have chosen to be part of our journey!

If you know me, you know I am silver plate obsessed. 🩶 Ever wonder what a piece is called, or what it was used for? Do you want to know the pattern name, or the year it was made?  Well, I have a pretty easy trick to share with you on how you can find these answers!  1. Take a photo. I like taking the photo ahead of time, but you can also do it through the website. (Include the entire item) 2. Head over to your browser and pull up replacements.com.  3. Click on the camera next to the search bar - Options will show up for China, Glassware, or Silver Plate.  4. Click on the appropriate option. (Here you can either take the photo, or choose a photo from your camera roll.) You have the option to crop if needed, then hit submit. It will use the photo to search the database for potential matches. Most of the time, the piece will be identified, but this is not always the case. Scroll through the search results to find the exact pattern. Click on "view entire pattern listing" to see everything listed under that pattern.  Let me know if this was helpful for you! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Can you believe it?! I know I sure can't! I'm still in shock, and I have known about this since the end of May (that's a really long time to keep a secret, don't you think?!)! I was finally given the "OK" to share this exciting news with you all, and I could not wait to put something together as an announcement! For those of you who aren't aware, I had recently been dubbed the "Silver Queen", so how fitting is it that my first ever feature showcases one of my favorite collections?! 🙌🏻 There's just something about the intricate designs of the handles, and the timeworn patina that just makes my heart pitter patter 😍 I feel like they make such an impact grouped together, especially paired with white ironstone! ➡️Where to find this magazine?? The Editor informed me that the October/November 2023 issue is out, BUT due to challenges with international paper shortages, this particular issue will not be available in stores. All current subscribers to American Farmhouse Style magazine will receive a paper copy. Non-subscribers are able to purchase a copy through their website, and digital versions are also available. ➡️Some additional content / tips: If you like the look of the "silver bouquets", but are on a budget, my advice would be to purchase the more common and inexpensive pieces, like teaspoons and salad forks. Find the handle patterns you are drawn to, and add all of these pieces handle-side up for a pretty display. No one will ever know they are different utensils, and they make for a beautiful statement in a mustard crock, creamer, sugar bowl, etc. Just have fun with it and choose the pieces that speak to you! I think silver plate pieces can definitely add depth, dimension, and texture to your display. Personally, I love the contrast of ironstone and metal pieces. Whether you choose to display the pieces with the handles up or down, you are bound to create a statement. Dreams do come true, just wait and see! ✨ . . . . #americanfarmhousestyle #silverplate #silverplateflatware #mypastperfectfind #myweatheredwares #myfavoritecollection

🌿SOLD Post 10 of 12: Virtual Flea Market Saturday This may be my favorite piece in this morning’s collection! How stunning is the shape, size, and green transfer design on this antique creamy white ironstone pitcher?! ➡ All text within ✨✨ indicates an imperfection. Please review all photos and notes below for condition of the item. 🌿Shipping is not included in the listed price🌿 ➡ Comment “sold” to clam. I’ve heard bows are all the rage this year, and this gorgeous green transferware pitcher has the perfect touches! Each panel has such exquisite detailing, but I think my favorite is the large side panels with the basket of florals hung from a bow. This beauty is a smaller size, but definitely makes a statement! Marked “CAMEO – ETRURIA, ENGLAND – WEDGWOOD” with some debossed markings and an illegible registration bar. Etruria Works was a ceramics factory that Josiah Wedgwood founded in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. This mark dates the piece from 1891-1900. In excellent antique condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. | 4 3/4” x 5 1/2” x 7 1/8” high 🌿$58 + shipping
