When I started my IG account, I don’t think it had ever crossed my mind that my home would be in a magazine. It was a dream too big to conceive. I showed this bedroom yesterday, but mostly just the tree. So I wanted to show you more of it today. . . I told you on the other reel there was a theme going on in this room, and now you know what it is, The Polar Express. It wasn’t intentional. . . When Walmart started putting out their Christmas decor, I found these trains. I bought all they had at my local store. They were gorgeous. The pillow on the bed is one I’ve had for ages, and The Polar Express book was given to me by a friend years ago. Once I began decorating the tree, the idea just came together. . . Do you decorate like that, on the fly, so to speak? My vision for a room usually comes while I am working on it. That seems to be how my creative juices flow. . . I am moving right along with my Christmas decorating! The front bedroom has had my attention all day. I have made wonderful progress and I can’t wait to show you. . . My biggest accomplishment was getting my King Of Christmas 6ft King Noble Fir (unlit) decorated @kingpfchristmas. . . I am so excited about the way it turned out. No lights other than flameless candles are on my beautiful tree. With red bows, greenery, berries, puffs of snow, a few vintage ornaments and, oh yes, trains. I have a bit of a theme going on, but that’s for another reel, another day. 😉 . . I love the way my 6 ft King Noble Fir (unlit) by King of Christmas turned out. This nativity is one of my very favorite Christmas decorations. I purchased it in Gatlinburg, TN in the Glades Road Arts and Crafts community. It is all handmade using old wooden bobbins. It is unique, not another one exactly like it. I don’t think!😊 . . I use it every year here on my buffet. My Luminara Christmas tree candles add so much charm. I added a small tree to the downstairs bathroom this year. I already had the blue and white bowl I found at the local thrift store a couple of years ago. The tree was an after Christmas clearance purchase last year. So I was off to a good start. But what else to do? . . My wheels started to turn when I remembered the blue and white Santa my sweet friend Melvia gave me last Christmas. I love to use blueberries any season. Snow is something I dream of but rarely see, and candles. This is a little tree of my imagination. It truly makes me smile. . . I found two ladder back armchairs this past weekend at The Lucky Rabbit. It’s a local antique flea market. . . In true fashion for me, I looked at them and did not buy them. Regret set in. So after church on Sunday, I returned, and they were still there. I got them and I love them. I still have the Windsor armchairs that were here. I would never get rid of them, but I do like a change from time to time. . .
