Tina the peahen arrived unexpectedly at Spirit Rock during the quiet of the COVID lockdown in March 2020, making the outdoor stairway of the Upekkha dorm her sanctuary. While she’s often a solitary figure, Tina occasionally joins the campus turkeys, even adopting turkey broods as her own. Named by former kitchen manager Krystin, Tina has since become a cherished part of the Spirit Rock community.
