Comment "APPS" below for all the details straight to your inbox 💌 I don't normally spend money on paid APPS but I wouldn't be able to find such good gluten free celiac safe food if it weren't for these 3 APPS 👇🏻 1️⃣ Find Me Gluten Free: This is the one that I have used the most in the past and probably the one that is the most heard of in our community. The premium version is definitely worth the money as it allows you to filter by most celiac friendly. You can get a full year of premium for only $15 with my code: SIMPLEADVENTUROUSLIFE 2️⃣ The Gluten Dude App has a great list for Dedicated Gluten Free Restaurants and Vetted Restaurants that adhere to certain protocols in the kitchen. I love this feature as it helps bring comfort when dining out. They also offer coupons to over 50 GF companies. Most apps have a monthly or yearly membership, but I recently partnered with @glutendude to offer $50 off a LIFETIME subscription. You pay once and never have to pay again. The other two apps do not offer this. 3️⃣ Atly has recently released a Gluten Free Eats Map for people with Celiac Disease. And they just launched some new features that I'm loving👇🏻 •People can add restaurants they recommend really easily to the map. The Atly team works on taking the crowd sourced restaurants and contacting them to have it categorized by 100% GF, Celiac Friendly and Accommodating so you can decide your level of comfort at different restaurants. •It is so user friendly and adding a new restaurant, whether it is one you recommend or one you want to warn people about, is really easy. You can even just "heart" the restaurant if it's already been added to show you had a good experience without writing an entire review. All of these crowd sourced apps are such a great starting point, but MAKE sure to always do your own research and ask questions every time you eat as management and protocols can change. You can try these APPS for FREE for a 7 day trial. Comment "APPS" and I'll send you all the details to your inbox 💌 #glutenfree #celiacdisease #glutenfreefood #celiac #glutenfreetravel #travelglutenfree

Planning a trip with celiac disease requires more than just hoping for gluten-free options—you need to be prepared! Here are a few tips I wish I’d known earlier: Comment "celiac" below to get details on my 87 page celiac travel guide🗺️ 1️⃣ Restaurants may be unexpectedly closed or have limited hours, so always have a backup plan. Research multiple safe options nearby to stay flexible. 2️⃣ A custom Google Map is a game changer—pinning gluten-free spots lets you sightsee without getting stuck wondering where your next meal is coming from. 3️⃣ Hotels often accommodate requests for a mini fridge and microwave, which can make all the difference for quick, safe meals or reheating leftovers when dining out isn't an option. 4️⃣ Pack more than just snacks for travel day! Bring a real meal (or two) to avoid the risk of going hungry if no gluten-free food is available at the airport or on your flight. I’ve just returned from a year-long trip around the world with my family, and I put together an 87-page travel guide full of all the tips and insights I wish I’d known before our first trip. Comment “NEED” below and I will send you all the details directly to your inbox💌 Traveling with Celiac Disease has its unique challenges, but I've discovered some products that make life on the road a lot easier. Here are a few of my favorites that came with me while my family and I are traveled around the world this past year. Swipe through all the photos above for more➡️ First off, packing a small stash of my favorite spices is a game-changer. It's a smart way to enjoy familiar flavors without constantly rebuying and wasting spices while on the go. Whether I'm cooking in an Airbnb or whipping up a quick meal in a hotel, these spices add that extra something to my dishes. Having my celiac translation cards in foreign speaking countries was a no brainer. It was so nice to not have to use Google translate and worry that they didn't understand my needs. Dining out can sometimes lead to bloating and discomfort, especially when restaurants use additives and oils that don't sit well with Celiac sufferers. Thankfully, I've tried various remedies, but the one that's truly impressed me is Hilma. This all-natural solution has become my go-to for managing bloating and stomach pains. It's compact and reliable, making it a permanent fixture in my travel bag🧳 The freezable food cooler that doubles as a stylish purse is an absolute must-have. It's perfect for keeping my gluten-free meals fresh on long journeys. You never know when you'll find a safe meal option, so being prepared with your own food is a game-changer. I can't forget to mention Clean Monday Meal Seasonings, which I consider a kitchen essential. I use them regularly, and you can get a sweet 10% discount with code SIMPLE10. These are the kind of travel essentials that make life with Celiac Disease so much smoother. Whether you're a fellow Celiac traveler or just looking for smart culinary solutions, I hope these tips help make your journeys a little more delicious and a lot more convenient. #CeliacTravel #GlutenFreeLife #TravelEssentials #celiacdisease #glutenfreetravel #autoimmunewarrior #glutenfree #celiacdisease #celiacdiseasetravel

Tacos are a family favorite in our house and it was so fun using @gustobrasilusa versatile cheese bread to make tortillas for our taco night. They have four delicious flavors: Bacon, Garlic & Parmesan, Jalapeño, and Traditional Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese. We used the Jalapeño flavor for the taco shells and they did NOT disappoint. You can find them at Harmons, Macey’s, Fresh Market, Ridley’s, and Lee’s. Visit the Gusto Brazil store locator to find the nearest location! Some of my favorite things about Gusto Brasil’s cheese bread: It is Naturally Gluten Free which is important to me since I have celiac disease. You can get a HUGE bag with 2.2 pounds that will last a while! Multipurpose Dough: In addition to the delicious cheese bread their dough can be used to make tacos, pizza, waffles, and so much more. Quality: Tapioca flour imported from Brazil, high-quality mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, sugar-Free and non-GMO. Authenticity: The most authentic Brazilian cheese bread. Convenience: Harmons, Macey’s, Fresh Market, Ridley’s, and Lee’s. Visit the Gusto Brazil store locator to find the nearest location! #CheeseBreadCravings #HarmonsGrocery #BrazilianFlavors #GlutenFreeEats #SnackGoals #JalapeñoCheeseBread #SnackTime #CheeseLovers #CheeseBread #GlutenFree #BrazilianCheeseBread #HealthySnacks #gustobrasilcheesebread #celiacdisease

3️⃣ of the hardest things about traveling with Celiac Disease and how I manage👇🏻 We have been on the road long term 3 different times throughout our marriage and just recently returned from 8 straight months of full time travel🌎 These are the three things I struggled with the most👇🏻 1️⃣ Decision fatigue 😫 there are so many decisions you have to make while traveling full time in general. Adding dietary restrictions to the mix only makes it more intense. Constantly prioritizing food choices, researching celiac friendly options, and communicating dietary can lead to mental exhaustion. I've learned how important it is for self care and taking breaks from making decisions. 2️⃣ Not being able to have a fully stocked kitchen. When you have celiac disease there aren't always places to eat out everywhere you go so cooking meals at home is a must. When you move frequently you can't have all the gluten free baking ingredients and large variety of spices and all the best kitchen gadgets that makes cooking easier. Because of that I've had to learn to simplify cooking a lot more. 3️⃣ Language barriers and Unfamiliar Cuisine🍛 when I first found out I had celiac disease one of the hardest transitioned was learning all the hidden place gluten good be. Hopping from country to country with unfamiliar cuisines increases the risk of accidentally consuming gluten, as ingredients may vary widely from one place to another. Local dishes may contain hidden gluten that normally doesn't in the states. It has been so tricky to navigate. Google translate has been my best friend. Which of these is the hardest for you when traveling? 1️⃣, 2️⃣ or 3️⃣? #celiacproblems #celiactravels #glutenfreetravel #travelglutenfree #celiacdisease #autoimmunedisease #celiac #celiachumor #celiacsofig

It's hard to believe that a decade has passed since my diagnosis. I can still vividly recall the very first trip my small family of three embarked on after I received my diagnosis. We were driving from Salt Lake to Las Vegas to visit my husband's family, and I had a significant breakdown in the car in St. George. At the time, I struggled to advocate for myself and ask the right questions at restaurants. Over the past ten years, I've learned so much and gained a lot of confidence. While traveling with Celiac Disease remains challenging, practice makes perfect 👊🏻 In fact, we just returned from a full time year long trip with our family and finding restaurants that are safe was my top priority. It requires a considerable amount of research and preparation. I've had both successful and not-so-successful trips. Nearly every journey involves detours of about 20 minutes just to find a safe place to eat. I've even written an 87 page eBook on all things gluten free travel that I want to share with you 👇🏻 Simply comment "TRAVEL" and I'll send you all the details on how to get the FREE mini book and the full travel guide directly to your inbox 💌 #glutenfree #celiacdisease #glutenfreefood #celiac #glutenfreetravel #travelglutenfree #glutenfreefood #whatceliacseat #celiactravel

I was so prepared and purchased a French gluten free translation card to use at restaurants, however I didn't need it once😱 Paris has over 🔟 100% gluten free restaurants/bakeries and I ate like a queen. It's hard to narrow down to my favorites but if I had to choose favorites they would be: BREAKFAST/BRUNCH: Hands down Cafe Mareva for their sweet & savory waffles. LUNCH: Cococo for their unique Japanese cuisine. If they were open for dinner I would have gone back at least two more times. Their fried chicken is 👌🏻 DINNER: Little Nonna for their 🍕 and Kapunka for their Pad Thai SOMETHING SWEET: Hands down Grom gelato and @copains.paris for their pastries🥧 For more Gluten free adventures follow @simple.celiac.life✨ #glutenfreetravel #glutenfreeparis #celiactravel #travelglutenfree #eatinginparis #celiacdisease #celiaclifestyle #findmeglutenfree #celiacproblems #noglutenplease #nocrumbsplease

SAVE this TIP for your next International Trip🌎 My family and I got back in the USA after an amazing international trip this past summer, and I've got a game-changing travel tip to share with you! 🙌 Say goodbye to those never-ending customs lines and hello to stress-free reentry. 📱 The secret? The Mobile Passport Control app! It's like having your very own VIP pass to breeze through customs like a pro. No more wasting time and trying to deal with tired and cranky kids while waiting in a never ending line after a long travel day – just smooth sailing. ✅ Download the app, fill out your info, and follow the easy instructions. When you land, simply scan your passport, and you're on your way. It's seriously that simple! *I've used this app successfully 5 times, but I have heard from others the line can occasionally be closed. With some research it looks like it is only available to US and Canadian citizens and is good for re-entry coming back to your home country. Trust me, this app is a lifesaver for any jet-setter. Give it a try on your next trip and thank me later! ***I've had success with this but I've had a few people let me know that sometimes it can be a long line or occasionally it isn't open. So it isn't a guarantee but always worth a try. #TravelHacks #JetSetter #MobilePassport #CustomsMadeEasy #travelingwithkids #travelfamily

The holidays can be a whirlwind—especially when you’re navigating them with celiac disease or dietary restrictions. Between advocating for yourself at every meal, dodging cross-contamination, and often taking on most of the cooking, it’s easy to feel drained by the time the festivities wind down. So here’s your reminder to practice a little post-holiday self-care: ✨ Order a gluten-free deep-dish pizza from @via313pizza (trust me, you’ve earned it). ✨ Say yes to rest. Let the dishes wait and prioritize recovery. ✨ Nourish your body with meals you don’t have to stress about—hello broth and easy GF staples. ✨ Set boundaries for what you need, even if it’s just a day of quiet. Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish; it’s necessary. What’s your go-to for a holiday recharge? 💛 #celiac #celiacdisease #celiacselfcare #glutenfree #holidayhangover #autoimmunedisease
