thank YOU for making this journey better than I ever imagined! Celebrating the 3M milestone with sooo much gratitude and the excitement to do more and do better! Lots of love❤️❤️#bakewithshivesh

Still processing but THIS HAPPENED! Absolutely honoured to have made the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list❤️🥹 When I took up content creation full time back in 2017, most people didn’t see it as potential career choice. For someone whose life plan had always been to take up a job, like everyone else in my family, working as an independent creator was scary. I didn’t know how much revenue I’d be able to generate each month or how long I’d be able to sustain it for before I’ve to get a “real job”. I still have days when I ask my self if I’m doing enough. If what I’m doing is making any kind of impact and then when I see things like this happen, it just all feels right. In the last few years, I’ve achieved and experienced things I never even dreamt about when I was starting out. I was only doing what made me happy and giving it all I have. THIS is definitely one of those things!❤️ Thank you for being a part of my journey and making crazyyyyy possible 🙋🏻♂️ #bakewithshivesh#ForbesUnder30 #ForbesU30Asia

5 years, 4 cookbooks 💫 my babies! Working on each of these books has taught me so much and I wanted to share a few things with you- ✨Getting started is the most important part When the offer came to me for my first book in the year 2018, I thought I wasn't prepared enough and a sense of doubt was a constant companion. Even after taking up the offer many times, I felt stuck, however, by the end, it became the biggest learning curve in my life. The entire experience was surreal and a big milestone in my baking journey. So I would say that don't be intimidated by opportunities that come your way, grab them with open arms, without any worry as every adventure requires that first big step. ✨Everyone has a role to play in this journey When I was working on the first book I was working all alone and didn't have a team back then. However, shortly I realized that it is impossible to do everything on your own if you want to grow and have a good quality product. I also realized that more than your strengths, you need to be aware of your weaknesses and delegate them to a team that can help you achieve your goals. After the first book, I started building a team and then they say the rest is history. My last three book writing journeys have been super smooth and enjoyable hence making it a rewarding process not only for me but my team as well. ✨Feedback is very important As an individual working on something that takes a long time, say about a year or two to produce, it becomes easy to develop a tunnel vision without realizing that the product needs constant feedback. I always want the final product to be valuable to my audience and therefore I feel it is important to incorporate certain feedback while working on the product. Hence I would highly recommend keeping the feedback journey a continuous one in whatever aspect of your life you are present. For example, for all my books I made it a point to send out the recipes to a couple of friends for a fresh perspective and understand the user journey up close. This has helped me take a pause and understand the minor tweaks I need to make so that the audiences enjoy the recipes to the fullest. To many more 💫
