Well I don't think we've ever had a Christmas tree that feels quite this magical! 🥹✨ I'm usually quite the perfectionist when it comes to decorating our tree, but this year I really wanted to just fill our tree with all of our bits and the more I added the more special it felt! We've got decorations from our first year living together, things I've crafted myself, old bits of ribbon turned into bows, skiing mice, gingerbread houses, Christmas jumpers, the lot!! 🎄 In case you missed my post a couple of weeks ago, we picked this beauty up from @johnlewis and I couldn't be more happy with it. It's a prelit tree which is quite honestly LIFE CHANGING and I just think it looks so realistic and beautiful. Urgh, why can't we keep our trees up year-round?! 🤭 It truly has cheered up our living room x10000. We've been BUSY this week with house projects and I couldn't wait to share the first reveal with you as it was literally finished this afternoon!! 🤭 Say hello to my dream kitchen tiles 🥹🤍 When we viewed this house 5 years ago, the open plan kitchen was definitely what sold it to us, but whilst I feel really lucky to have such a lovely kitchen, I've always wanted to change out the backsplash for something more me. I've had my heart set on traditional Moroccan handmade tiles for ages - I love how imperfect and organic they look, and I knew they'd offer some much needed texture and warmth to the space. I went for the Zellige tiles from @bakedtileco and I couldn't be any more over the moon with how they've transformed the space! 🙌🏼 I love the colour variation between the tiles and they really have finished this space off perfectly. I'm sorry if you're sick of seeing this mural, but I'll never be over how good this transformation turned out 🤭🥹 this room used to be literally HEADACHE INDUCING, and now it's my little calm haven 🫶🏻 Scout has officially taken over this room as his own and I can't blame him tbh. It's so lovely working from the desk looking out onto the trees and I really wanted to incorporate that into the space, hence the mural!
