It’s not always about how heavy you are lifting or how many reps you can do. 👇 🔹Are your joints stable? *if they aren’t, you’re most likely at risk for injury at some point & less likely to be able to fire the proper muscle group you’re working. 🔹Are you activating the muscle you’re targeting? *if you can’t find the mind muscle connection to the muscle group you are working, you are missing out on strength & growth potential! 🔹How is your range of motion? *lack of range of motion can mean you aren’t able to stretch the muscle to give it maximum stretch before the contraction, again missing out on SO much growth potential! Drills are a useful technique for improving skills through repetitive practice. 🫡 These are some of the drills I incorporate throughout my week to keep me strong for my fitness routine skills. I find that doing these exercise in sequence, with repetition & in short time frames helps me to continue to be able to perform my fitness skills without beating myself into the ground with the actual skills. 🎯 Over doing it is never the goal for me. I train efficient & smart. Training smart is so important for EVERYONE! 🤝
