MORNING OR NIGHT WORKOUTS?? I’ve had to change “when” I train multiple times through my training journey and sometimes it just feels HARD to not only come to the conclusion that it needs to change but then to also make the switch. . I prefer (perfect case scenario) a nice midday session but have had a really hard time making it work and was missing sessions and not showing up for myself. I realized that waking up around 5a and knocking out work until around 7a gave me a good start to my day and then I can train around 7a and that lead my into my day 💯 not always easy to get up and make it happen but proud of myself for making it work 🫶🏼 (who else has gym doggies that join them?? or kiddos.. Here’s how Alexis lost 20lbs and rebuilt her confidence through resilience! 🤯 When Alexis started coaching, she was craving more experience and knowledge, plus wanted to shed more fat for her sister-in-laws wedding! just because it feels heavy… doesn’t mean you can’t do it‼️‼️ you’re as strong as you allow yourself to be. the thing is, a lot of weight feels heavy. 50LB DB’s feel ‘heavy’. So do 60’s, 70’s, 80’s… they’re all ‘heavy’. BUT when training, being able to gauge our RPE (rate of perceived exertion) will help understand “heavy / hard” doesn’t mean you can’t go for more. just because a load FEELS ‘heavy’ does not mean you can’t do it or even do more. want to learn more about RPE? comment this -> 🤠 emoji and your favorite exercise right now!
