If you’re struggling to get more protein in your diet and you are constantly finding it hard then here’s some inspo that may help! When it comes to muscle gain and fat loss, protein is the king of nutrients. Protein has been proven to assist with weight management by boosting metabolism and reducing hunger and appetite. It can also help to build lean muscle and improve workout recovery when used in conjunction with a resistance training program. The easiest ways to add more protein into your diet are: 1. Increase the portion size of your protein in your main meals. 2. Add a protein powder supplement - my favourite is the @optimumnutrition.ausnz Gold Standard Isolate. Simple and effective! Ps. Peep the little hands trying to steal my food 😅
Tracking macros isn’t forever - it’s a powerful tool to build awareness and habits that last. The goal? To understand what your body needs so eventually you can eat mindfully and stay on track without second-guessing your choices. The time spent now learning about portion sizes, protein intake, nutrients and balance will give you the freedom later to enjoy life without constantly counting everything. It’s about creating long-term habits, not a lifelong diet! If you’re ready to start the last diet you’ll ever need, DM us DIET and let’s chat!
A fat loss strategy you can actually stick to! The key here is to set a sustainable and realistic calorie deficit that you can actually stick to and then focus on just enjoying your lifestyle. This may seem simple but where most women go wrong is expecting huge progress straight away and then being disheartened/giving up when it doesn’t happen. By shifting your focus from checking your progress daily to living your life, you’ll notice over time that you’ll be making fat loss progress while enjoying the process! Want an enjoyable lifestyle WHILE losing fat? DM us LIFESTYLE and let’s chat! #findyourbalance #onlinecoaching #fatlosscoach #fatlosstips #dietingtips #healthandfitnessjourney
My current goal is to build muscle so here’s a random day on my plate. As a busy mum of two my meals are always quick and easy, throw together type of meals high in protein. I don’t know about you but eating bland, boring foods ain’t my thing so I make sure I include yummy foods daily. Ps. My coffee is decaf because I start my day with a @optimumnutrition.ausnz amino energy can and I can’t handle two higher caffeine drinks a day 😅 Is anyone else the same or just me?!
Are you hoping or planning? Wishing for a good week is one thing but what are you actually doing to make sure that you have a good week in terms of your progress? Pre-planning your food. Scheduling your workouts. Committing to a daily walk. Setting a regular bed time. It’s these plans that you make that help to guarantee your success ✅ If you’re ready to make a change, I’m here to help! Provided you’re already following a structured resistance based training program of course 😏 Many women think that because they’ve started a diet to lose fat that they need to change their training to a fat loss specific training. I’m here to tell you that you don’t! There’s no specific training program that has been shown to be superior for fat loss. Fat loss occurs through being in a calorie deficit. That being said, a structured resistance based training program can help preserve muscle and even help to build muscle if you’re new to training to help give a toned look so I always recommend this to my clients! If you’re needing a fat loss strategy tailored to you which includes a structured resistance based training program based on your goals, I’m here to help! Truth bomb: guessing won’t get you the results you’re wanting. Do you know what takes way more time than weighing and tracking your food? Waiting endlessly for results because you’re just winging it and hoping you’re in a calorie deficit. 🙅♀️ If you’re serious about fat loss, tracking your food is the MOST EFFICIENT way to get results. When you guess, you risk overeating, under-eating or not making any progress. Tracking may take a few extra minutes a day, but those minutes add up to faster, more consistent results. Why waste weeks or months hoping when you can know you’re on the right path and make continual adjustments where needed to continue to progress? Ready to fast track your own fat loss results with expert guidance? After feeling weak for many months, I’m now entering my strong era! My current goal is to rebuild a lot of the muscle I lost from 2 pregnancies, 2 cesareans and a spinal surgery all in the last 2 years. So here’s 3 things I’m doing to help make it happen. 1. Eating in a calorie surplus, prioritising protein. 2. Following a structured weight training program. 3. Supplementing with @optimumnutrition.ausnz creatine daily. Building muscle as a woman takes a lot of time so I’m doing what I can to help speed up the process.
