I put this job off for so long as the windows and doors provide a few challenges logistically. I couldn’t hang them outside the recess because of low beams above one window, but inside the recess provided challenges with the door and the window seat. Blinds may have worked inside the recess, but would have blocked out too much light when pulled up, and outside the recess would have looked odd when pulled down. Either way a compromise was needed and I think this is the best solution. They’ve been interlined and lined so they’ll provide much needed warmth in the winter. The fabric is Malika ‘Sage’ from @thepureedit (ad pr product). The tracks I painted and caulked to ‘disappear’ as much as possible. Now the question is, do tie backs look cute or dated?
