For many people, osteoporosis is an invisible disease and getting a DXA scan is the only way to determine whether your bone density is low.⁠ ⁠ That said, there are 2 visible signs that you or someone you know might have osteoporosis: ⁠ ⁠ * Loss of height by 4cm or more⁠ * Stooped or hunched posture with a forward, rounded upper back⁠ ⁠ If you have noticed these changes in yourself or someone else, it may be worth a visit to the doctor to determine if you or your loved one has osteoporosis.
