As part of our Sustainability Program, we’ve established beehives on our farms, creating a thriving apiary. These bees not only enhance crop yields, strengthen ecosystems, and support food security, but also produce honey. As part of our Seniors Healthcare Program, every Thursday our beneficiaries attend weekly medical clinics at our offices in Isiolo and Kakamega. For seniors who are unable to get to the office clinic due to age-related challenges or other health conditions, our clinical officer together with our dedicated team, brings healthcare directly to their homes, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need.

Today, as the world marks International Youth Day, we celebrate the energy, creativity, and resilience of young people everywhere. This year’s theme reminds us that empowering youth is key to building stronger, healthier communities. We believe in protecting our youth from the dangers that threaten their future, including the devastating impact of drug and substance abuse. Through our community sports initiatives like the Piga Kete Tournament and the recent Football Tournament at Bula Mpya Primary School, we are using the power of sport to inspire, educate, and unite young people. These tournaments are more than just games, they are platforms where messages of healthy living, discipline, and self-belief are shared with players and spectators alike. On July 26th, we hosted our 5th Medical Camp for the elderly in Isiolo, as part of our ongoing Seniors Healthcare Program. The camp brought together volunteer medical practitioners from across the country, alongside other MIC volunteers, all united by a shared mission: to improve access to quality healthcare for our senior citizens.
