The Growth of LivHealth: A Commitment to Excellence in HomeCare 🔹 2021 – LivHealth was founded by Dr. Chelsea Garcia with a vision to transform palliative and home-based healthcare in Trinidad & Tobago. 🔹 2022 LivHealth won the Shaping the Future of Innovations grant from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), enabling rapid expansion. The team grew significantly, hiring doctors, nurses, therapists, delivery drivers, and support staff to meet patient needs. The LivHealth Charitable Foundation was established to fund hospice care for those unable to afford home care. 🔹 2023 LivHealth expanded its medical equipment rental division, increasing access to essential supplies such as oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, wheelchairs, and more. Expanded services into South Trinidad, allowing more patients to receive in-home care. LivPharma Mobile Pharmacy was launched, bringing prescription medication and pharmacy essentials directly to patients. Advanced Palliative Medicine Research in Trinidad presenting at three international conferences. 🔹 2024 LivHealth's caregiving services- LivCare took off, ensuring family caregivers received the support they needed to prevent burnout. Represented Trinidad & Tobago on the world stage at the 13th EAPC World Research Congress in Spain, sharing insights on palliative care advancements. Strengthened efforts toward equitable palliative care through volunteer frameworks, the Living Water Re-Med program, and expanded social work support for families. Partnered with the Living Water Community to deliver care for both The Living Water Hospice and Mercy Home. 🔹 2025 & Beyond Funded by the IDB, LivHealth developed an Advanced Certification in Palliative Care to address a much needed gap in our nations care. LivHealth continues to enhance its services, improve training programs, and expand access to high-quality home-based and palliative care. The focus remains on innovation, accessibility, and compassionate care, ensuring lasting impact in the healthcare landscape of Trinidad & Tobago.
