So I did a thing yesterday 👉🏾 I was invited to lead a discussion featuring #TonyAwardWinning #Broadway Director @iamkennyleon ✊🏾 He came back to his #AlmaMater @cau1988 to conduct a Theater Masterclass with the students. But it was this “Lunch and Learn” with the Mass Media and Theater Arts faculty and staff that was soooooo impactful. We talked about the “State of Black TV, Film and Broadway” and it was intense!!! Kenny broke it down and gave us a “real” lesson in how the industry reaaaaaaly operates from behind the scenes to casting to finances. Let’s just say, it was a “You had to be there” kind of moment.
