Well this was an absolute bucket list shoot ! Me and the amazing AWW team all flew to central Australia last month to photograph the beautiful Poh @pholingyeow for this year’s @womensweekly Christmas Cover. . This cover was shot at the stunning and very isolated Rainbow Valley. I sincerely want to thank absolutely everyone involved from my crew, to my AWW family and NT tourism for making what I believe is a truly special cover. Despite it being 40 degrees with little shade and a gazillion flies (I may have eaten one or 2) everyone put in 110% and made it one of the loveliest, smoothest and funniest shoots to date ! . I also want to say a big thank you to Poh herself for being so professional, giving, and so damn kind to everyone involved - I know it was not easy wearing what you wore in that heat and all those F’ing flies but you soldiered on giving your absolute all, and then some, to ‘get the shot’ so THANK YOU x . ICONIC Barry Otto ✨ . Photographed as a quick side shoot when Baz sat for me for my @2020mentailty project a couple of years back - I wanted to capture his incrediable emotional range that he is famous for as an actor - in a space of just a few minutes Baz took us all on a master class of emotional expression which had us all with a huge lump in our throats and holding back tears. All I had to do was to just keep pressing the button all the magic came from his soul. ❤️
