50,000+ new peeps in the past month𤯠Welcome to the sh*t show!!! Let me introduce myself⦠Iām an extreme adrenaline junkie. I live for snowboarding, MTB, fast cars, wake surfing and Ironmans. But thatās just one side of me. Iām also a proud father of Irish twins (Max and Noah) and husband to the wonderful @renee_warren Theyāre my everything. But my life didnāt start out this positive⦠At the age of 11, I was diagnosed with ADHD, starting my life on a downward spiral. By the time I was 13, I found myself caught up in drugs and crime (think Sons of Anarchy). Itās part of my past that Iām not proud of, but it shaped me into who I am today. Things got so bad that I ended up behind bars twice by the time I was 17. It was during those dark times that something incredible happened. I discovered coding while in rehab, and it saved my life. Learning to code ignited a fire within me... a drive to create. From 17-23 I tried to build countless companies just to fail time and time again. But at 23 I picked up a business book. It changed everything. Between the ages of 24 & 34 I went on a wild ride, starting, scaling and exiting 3 tech companies. After that, I thought Iād settle down and retire. But you know, once an entrepreneur, always an entrepreneur. So thatās when I started my YouTube channel. I had no idea that this would lead me to building one of the largest coaching companies in the world, @saasacademy and writing a WSJ bestselling book, Buy Back Your Time. Most days, youāll find me soaking up the beauty of Kelowna, BC, Canada and building Martell Ventures, a portfolio of companies that generates over $100M in revenue. And hereās my life philosophy, The Martell Method: Become the best version of yourself and share that person with the world. So I hope in some small way through what I share that Iām able to serve you. Ok, fun fact time: My weakness is peanut butter with chocolate. Seriously. Itās my kryptonite. Now you know a bit about me, I want to hear about you. Tell me a fun fact about you in the comments. DM

Iāve never shared this story before. At 20 Years Old I blew up to 265 lbs and avoided cameras at all costs. I was terrified of being that sweaty, overweight guy in pictures for the rest of my life. Thatās why I laugh when people say āoh but Dan, itās easy for youā¦you work out.ā They didnāt see me struggling just to climb stairs without losing my breath. It took years to fix my psychology, habits, and self-beliefs. Iāll never forget those setbacks when the numbers on the scale crept up. It was a war won by inches and it tested everything I had. I share this because I know what itās like to be at rock bottom and think āthereās no way I can transform my life.ā What I realized is that if I wanted to be fit, I had to start BEING an athlete first - even without evidence. 90 Days Ago (See photo) I decided to go all in on fitness. Learned about Macros and Hypertrophic Training and now, Iām at my peak, both mentally and physically. Thereās no going back. This is who I am now. Moral of the story? If you want lasting change, choose a more powerful identity, work at it each day, and believe. Iām living proof that anythingās possible. And Iām just getting started ;) So tell me... whatās the commitment youāll make TODAY to become the person you want to be? Reply with āToday I commit to...ā Iāll read every reply. Become Hard to Kill DM P.S. If youāre curious about my routine/diet and want a plan, message me āMacrosā and Iāll hook you up š
Meet my hero. When I was 15, I went to jail for the first time. Not exactly the path most parents dream of for their kid... You'd think that'd be my wake-up call, but it wasn't. Got out and went straight back to the same crew, same destructive habits... Same path to nowhere. A year and a half later? Back in jail. Only this time it was adult jail because of the severity of my crimes. Most people had given up on me by then... But not my dad. He realized that as long as I was in that toxic environment, nothing would change. So I spent half of my sentence in rehab at Portage. That place saved my life⦠but only because I had someone to lean on. See, my dad moved houses and pretty much paused his life for TWO WHOLE YEARS⦠Just so I could have a better environment after rehab. And Iāll never forget that. Truth is⦠I wouldnāt even be alive today without him. So yeah, this moment where we got to share a stage in front of hundreds of people... It hit different. Looking at him, all I could think about was our journey. And the smile on my face is pure joy and appreciation. It reminded me of just how far we had come as a family. Parents who show up for their children are superheroes. And my Dad still inspires me to this day. Love you, Dad. - DM
