So great being back in Savannah for the second year in a row with the amazing Bee Sharps and the team & faculty of @scaddotedu! Their Holiday Spectacular is the most fun and joyful, and the talent of these students is wild. Thanks for the invite @mikeevariste & @tjanene320! Arguably the greatest thing about spending your life in the theatre is collecting soul mates along the way. People that become instant family, feel like home, make you laugh so hard you cry (and when you’re crying, make you laugh.) The ones who make you feel simultaneously held tight & limitless, both onstage and off. That’s @branuran for me. I *cannot* believe we’ve been gifted with Leopoldstadt together and now Ragtime as well. The luck of it all aligning is truly outrageous. @nycitycenter’s Ragtime has been absolute magic. We have 5 more shows with this beautiful company and this genius story & score. And we need it now more than ever. Thank you to Lear, @jennygersten @tomkirdahy @nycitycenter @thetelseyoffice @helloellenore @maestromoore and of course, Stephen Flaherty, Lynn Ahrens and the late, great Terrence McNally. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
