Landed on a beautiful island in the middle of the ocean Pohnpei in the Micronesia. I went to visit the Mangrove forest near the airport with the canoe and it was amazing!! It's the rain season at the moment but luckily it was sunny when we were in the forest!! 南太平洋のど真ん中にポツンと浮かぶ美しい島にやってきました。 ミクロネシア連邦の最初の旅はポンペイ島に滞在しております。 到着して早々にマングローブの森をカヌーで訪れました。 どこまでも広がるマングローブの森はとても美しく神秘的でした。 雨が多いポンペイですが、前半は晴れ間の中撮影がスタートしていろんな角度からマングローブを撮影できました。 手付かずの自然にびっくりする初日となりました。 まだまだ旅は続きます！ #micronesia #pohnpei #island #mangrove #nature

This year I will joint the @asiadiveexpo Asia Dive Expo Singapore Ocean Week. As Marine diving fair 2025 is on the same date I can not joint the Marine diving fair this year. Since 2015 I been jointed Marine diving fair every year so it is little bit sad to not be there but I am so happy to talk about the Japan's ocean especially Tokyo islands and Aina in ADEX. It's been few days since the visibility drop down and it was not too easy to photograph the wide scene of Ainan. But today the blue is finally back!! Looks like the Kuroshio current approach the peninsula!! So I went back to the point where there were lots of Anthias!! #ainan #anthias #wide #naturephotography 僕が愛南に到着してから急に浮遊物が増えて、透視度も下がっていましたが、今日から水が入れ替わって青くなってた！ サメは見れなかったけど、キンギョハナダイがすごい！ 冬にこれだけ居るなんて！ 前回、このポイントに来てもう一回撮影したいなーと思って今日も 田中 翔 ちゃんにお願いしてガイドしていただきました！ どこ見てもキンギョの群れがすごいんだけど、ここだけオスがやたらいました！ これもこれでなんかすごいな〜 予定ではここの後ろにサメがゾロゾロ居るはずなんだけどね！ イメージは完璧！笑 さー、明日からまたどんな海になるのか楽しみです！ 今日もDIVE愛南の皆さんに大変お世話になりました！ 最高の撮影になりました！ 撮影協力 ＤＩＶＥ愛南

It's been windy here!! But as Ainan is located on a peninsula we were diving on the other side of main area of @diveainan . They show me a beautiful pair of Coleman’s Urchin Shrimp. It not might be my first time to see them but in Japan is very rare to photograph them so I spend a bit time on them!! This time I choose @rgblue2013 light from the back and from the side to get nice contrast. Ainan is also very famous for macro diving as well!! The dive guides here they have a no really good eyes and skill to find a rare encounter!! Looks like tomorrow is gonna be less windy than today so I'm gonna setup my wide angle camera 📸 #shrimp #colemansurchinshrimp #ainan #macro #dive 昨日まで風が強くて思うように潜れなかったけど、今日から再開！ でもまだまだ北風が強いので、風裏になる冬ポイントへ連れて行ってくれました！ 日本では珍しいコールマンシュリンプが居るとのことで今日はマクロのカメラも持って海に入りました。 すごく撮影のしやすい場所にいたペアのコールマンシュリンプ。 ストロボでも撮ったけど、やっぱり絶妙な影なども自分で作りながら RGBlue (アールジーブルー） のスーパーナチュラルカラーを後ろから、顔にはプレミアムカラーを当てて撮影しました。 この周りにピグミーもたくさんいますよ！と ＤＩＶＥ愛南 の 加藤 めぐみ ちゃんが教えてくれたけど、水深もそこそこあるし、最後までこの子で粘ろう！と思う存分撮影しました。 ワイドもめちゃめちゃ面白いけど、レアな生き物がたくさんいる愛南はマクロも面白い！ もちろん、日々の調査や経験でこのような生き物を見つけ出すガイド陣がもっとすごいのだけどね！ さー、明日は北風も少し弱くなるし、ワイド写真も気合い入れて行ってきます！ 今日も最高の海をありがとうございました！ 撮影協力 DIVE愛南

Today in Japan is the day of coral. The day we no think about the future of coral and be nice to the ocean. And my job is to keep telling to the world how beautiful the coral is and how important the reef is needed to human. It is windy out side and diving has canceled so I made a short video at the beautiful accommodation of @diveainan "& marine". Ainan day 3 We went for explore diving which where they never dived before. We find a nice bommie so we dropped the anchor and jumped in. My dive guide Shota went to check the anchor and he call me back quickly!!! I looked at where he pointed his finger and there were a school of Pitted stingray!! It was hard to photograph them because of the visibility... We have lots of planktons at the moment but I totally agree with it that why we can see so many fish here!! Revenge for tomorrow!!!! Special thanks @diveainan #stingray #school #ainan #diving #dive 「愛南3日目」 今日も開拓ダイビングでまだ潜ったことのないポイントへ同行させていただきました。 午前中のガイドは大瀬崎で昔ガイドしてくれた 熊谷翔太くん。 エントリーして目の前に根があったから僕は右から、翔太くんはアンカーをチェックしに上から攻めていった。 上を見ると翔太くんが興奮した感じで「こっちこっち！」って言うので行くと、ホシエイが密会していました。 昨日もホシエイに会ったんだけど僕の方に寄ってくる様な行動をしていて、この群れを見る限り繁殖の一環だと思う。 しかし、僕の到着後から浮遊物が急増し透視度は低い。 本当は引いて、群れの雰囲気を出したいところだけど難しいので、そーっと近づいて驚かせない様に撮影しました。 もっと居たんだろうけど、この枚数でもテンション上がりますよね！ 午後は 田中 翔ちゃんと一緒に開拓へ違うポイントへ。 「激流だったら、仲良く這いつくばって行こう！」なんて言いながら入りましたが、計算通りのコースで快適にドリフト。 水底には多くの種類の魚がたくさん居ました。 浮遊物には悩まされるが、これだけ栄養分がくるから魚が豊富なんだな〜と納得。 明日から週末でゲストさんも増えると思うので、邪魔にならないように撮影を続けていきます。 明日はどんな出会いなのだろう！！楽しみだ！ 撮影協力 ＤＩＶＥ愛南

Unidentified Flying Object!?🛸 Today in Ainan there were lots of planktons and it was little bit dark but I was looking for something. And a UFO came in front of me!!! I know it's not an UFO it is actually a Butterfly ray! She were flying in the dark and that was pretty cool!!! We went for explore diving today and it was really nice but the current was too strong as we were on drysuit so it was hard to swim with the current so I couldn't get any good pictures!! Tomorrow we go back to the dive site we went when the tide stop so hopefully I can get some pics!!! Special thanks @diveainan #ray #butterflyray #ainan #dive #diving 愛南2日目　 「暗闇に円盤！？」 今日は開拓ダイビングに一緒に連れて行ってくれました。 ポイントについて、魚探と海図を見て「ここ面白そうだね〜」 「ここ行こっか！」といった感じで、冒険ダイブ！ それはそれは水中にはすごい世界が広がっていた。 でもドライだし、激流だし、正直思うように撮影できなかった。 でも改めて愛南の凄さにびっくり！ なんだか海の中は浮遊物が多くて、深くいけば行く程暗くなっていく。 暗闇で「何か」を待ってると遠くの方に見えたのは円盤！？ 近づいてみるとツバクロエイが優雅にホバリングしていました。 僕、エイもすきなんです！笑 一人で少し興奮しちゃいましたよ。笑 明日は風が落ちるけど、雨予報！ どんな冒険が待ってるか今から楽しみです！ 撮影協力 ＤＩＶＥ愛南

I arrived in Ainan this morning and went to dive with @diveainan looking for a nice Weedy scorpion fish. She was modeling like a superstar!! The location is full cover of wipe coral and the guide Sho quickly find 2 Weedy scorpion fish and I was really surprised by the finding skill at the bottom of -23m. Today it was little bit windy so we couldn't go far looking for sharks but hopefully tomorrow the wind going to be drop down so fingers crossed 🤞 Special thanks @diveainan 今日から ＤＩＶＥ愛南 にて撮影に来ています。 今回の目的はサメ！（最近はサメを追っかけて色々行ってるな〜） 昨日車で大阪まで行き、大阪からフェリーで今朝愛媛入りをしてそこから車で愛南までやってきました。 今回でかれこれ3回目の愛南です！ なぜならワイド、サメがすごいから！ でも到着後は北風が強く吹いていて、違うポイントでチェックダイブもかねて潜らせていただきました。 そこには可愛いボロカサゴが居たので案内していただきました。 同じ様なヤギが群生していてガイドの 田中 翔ちゃんが速攻で見つけてくれました。 最初は「結構動く子なので探すのに時間かかるかも？」って言ってたので僕の水中スクーターを貸してあげたのだけど、あまり必要なかったね！笑 さすがっす！ ヤギの間にちょこんと乗ってたのでそーっと近づいて撮影しました。 最初はストロボで撮ったんだけど、光量が強かったので RGBlue (アールジーブルー） のライトで撮影しました。 スーパナチュラルカラー2灯でヤギの色を出して、もう一台のプレミアムカラーに集光フィルターをつけたライトをボロカサゴに当てて撮影しました。 ワイド目的で来たのに珍しいサンゴや生き物が多くて悩む〜！ 明日はシャークに集中だ！ いい出会いがありますように！ 撮影協力 ダイブ愛南

Missed this island already!!! At my favorite dive site "Akinohama" there is so many different types of fish that come to the shallow area!! Akinohama is located at the direction of Sagami bay which has over -1000m depth and brings lots of rare encounters!! Especially during the winter the air is really clear out side so Mt Fuji was beautiful at the sunset!! I've been visiting this beautiful Tokyo island since 2016 and there is a still new scene that I never seen before!!! This time I was looking to take pictures of sharks and sardines but unfortunately it wasn't a good moment to meet them but this situation with purple sea weed become one of my favorite moment to dive!!! I came back on my last dive to end up at Onohama to dive at the late afternoon with a nice light and this Green turtle and purple see weed was absolutely beautiful to photograph!! It's still not the best season for sea weed so I have to come back in april!! When you swim to the east side of Akinohama it suddenly became dark. "Oh? Sardines?" I thought, but it turned out to be a school of grunts. This year, a tremendous number of grunts are flocking to the east side of Akinohama. I certainly wanted to see sardines this year, but unfortunately I wasn't able to see them. But I was able to take a lot of new pictures! This photo is also my favorite. Under this school of grunts, there are a lot of Striped boarfish and Striped boarfish! Personally, I like Striped boarfish.
