[A Dance To Remember - 12.06.24] The carefree days of youth give way to a new reality. The once-fav clothes no longer fit, fav foods are now off-limits. Stretch marks and hair loss become unwelcome companions, while fatigue, morning sickness, and nausea become the new norm… Back pain, leg pain, and water retention greet her every day and night. Anxiety about the baby’s health, movements and frequent trips to the toilet due to smaller bladder capacity keep her up at night. Heartburn and leg cramps become her best friends, while self-doubt, depression, and mood swings consume her slowly.. Skin boils and itchy body rashes add to the physical toll on top of endless injections and medical check ups she has to go through. After all this, the pain of childbirth awaits. I have never been this vulnerable before.. but I managed through this experience, with strong support system, patience, love and care. To all the mamas out there, hang in there! 💪 🥰 To my partner, I say this everyday but it’s never enough, I love you. (For those who read till here, I gained 26kg 🥹)
