🔆Journey of our Founder 🎶The Founding🎵 To understand the journey of Treble Bass is also to understand the journey of Luisa Lee. 2018 found her caught up in a whirlwind long distance romance. Less than a year later, she found herself married in Singapore, far from the corporate hallways of Kuala Lumpur. And soon after, she found herself holding a little one in her arms.  As the days began to be filled with the sound of tiny feet pattering across the floor and giggles emanating from room to room, she began to wonder if she could recreate some of the magic she left behind in Malaysia. Although a corporate professional by day, Luisa had spent the last ten years of weekends leading toddlers and babies through the first steps of music and movement in their little lives. Each connection made brought a little window of light into the shared world of the little ones and her.  So, with a burning passion to share that connection with her little one, she would resolve to crystalise her previous magic into a new format; Treble Bass. Through the medium of movement and music, something magical would be made anew.  Today, Treble Bass exists as a Rhythm and Action program for babies, toddlers and young  children. Available in English and Mandarin, it seeks to not only enhance their core foundational competencies in the domains of mind, body and soul but also to create a shared connection into the joys of learning and community. To enhance the sense of shared learning and connection, class sizes are kept to a minimum; this helps with balancing the need for group activity and individual attention.  Treble Bass is a class made of love💖; the love of learning, the love of music and the love of connection. Through activities like instrument play, dance, and rhythmic exercises, children enhance their fine and gross motor skills. We use quality-grade instruments to ensure a rich and authentic musical experience. Concepts such as tempo, rhythm, and dynamics are introduced in a fun and engaging way, helping little ones build a strong musical foundation. 🌈How is this different from other classes then?🎶 Our classes are the complete opposite of a traditional musical free play session where little ones are handed instruments/toys with musical accompaniment. Our classes require initial active accompaniment from a parent/guardian. This is due to the curated structured play format of the class whereby our activities require the little one to participate and follow the activities to get the full benefit of the session. On occasion, little ones may take some time to adjust to the class structure. Just wrapped up a series of Deepavali-themed enrichment sessions, and we had an amazing time learning through music, art, and play! Our little learners explored the meaning of Deepavali, created colorful rangoli, sang festive tunes, and even had a mini diya-lighting ceremony.
