We’re so happy to announce our conversion kit is now available on our website for the much loved Mercedes’ Sprinter 170” wheelbase, expertly designed to maximise every last inch of space and compatible with 1/4” panelling around the walls. The kit features a great large north to south bed measuring 75” L x 65” W meaning you don’t need to pay for extras to sleep east to west. In addition we have left a super flexible 40” empty space between the driver seat and our larger kitchen to allow for either a second row of seats, or a shower unit, or a bench seat…or…a big TV?!…anyway you get the idea….wherever life flows. The furniture kit is designed to give you all the essentials you need to hit the road as soon as possible and live in a clutter-free, modern but cosy interior, all made from natural materials. The conversion kit is for the furniture ONLY but we can additionally supply an electrics kit, plus cushion upholstery for the bed and bench seat. All with FREE SHIPPING Nationwide. In the first of a new series featuring the proud owners of a VanLab kit, we want to introduce Mark Griffiths of Colbert, Washington. He wanted to be able to kit out his Sprinter 144” quickly so that he could hit the road asap and start travelling around the many beautiful areas of America Our Medium kit for the Sprinter 144 was shipped to him for free and self installed in just 10 hours across a weekend and we thing the end result is wonderful! He had already panelled his van using the 1/4” Baltic birch recommended and had previously insulated his van. Each weekly video will feature a different model and a different kit with their proud owners so stay tuned for more to come!

Continuing our quick walk around of some of our kits, this is our ‘Small’ kit for the @nissanusa NV200, @ford_usa Transit Connect, and @chevrolet City Express. We love this DIY kit because it does SO much with such a tiny space. Including indoor seating for two people both sat at their own desk at opposite ends of the van, great for working or hanging when the weather is bad. In just seconds the tables and back rest drop down to form the bed, a comfy 78” x 39” size for two people. Paired with our in-house designed wiring loom you have all the comforts you need to stay connected in your very own work studio, lay back and watch a film, or comfortably cook INSIDE away from the outside elements.
