The study that claims “95% of vegans return to eating animals and exploiting them in other ways” is flawed, since subjects in this study were people experimenting a plant based diet. Carnivores require flesh to survive—humans do not. We have zero biological need for animal flesh, and we can thrive on a plant-based diet. If humans were meant to eat animals, they’d chase them down with our bare hands and eat them raw. But instead, animal eaters season, cook, and disguise their victims bodies to make them palatable. Scientific evidence strongly suggests that chickens are just as conscious and sentient as dogs—they both exhibit self-awareness, problem-solving skills, emotions, and social bonds.
