A headboard wall with matching, floating nightstands. Integrated cord management, built to suit a queen or king size bed. A wonderful way to spruce up a sometimes overlooked space.
The appliances are in, the handles are on, and this little laundry Millwork job is finished. • A nice, clean finish for some awesome clients.
This is probably my favorite use for the Lamello tenso, miters on crown molding. • It’s especially helpful when working with prefinished trim, which is what I’m usually doing these days. •
Gratitude level: 💯 Some of the places I have the privilege of working at are incredible. And the weather for December is beautiful. Happy Thursday folks! #cabinetmaker #cabinetry #cabinetshop #scenic #kitchencabinets #cabinetinstall #kitcheninstall
Grain match city 🌆 I’m installing these grain matched cabinets for a local shop, and when they’re adjusted perfectly they pop! And that chatoyant figure 🤌🏻 #sapele #kitcheninstall #kitcheninstaller #cabinetinstall #kitchencabinets #grainmatch

Let there be light Sometimes something as simple as a good light can make all the difference on an install job. Especially when working on a house in the mountains in December… #makita #makitatools #makita18v #jobsite #kitcheninstallation #cabinetmaker #cabinetinstallation

USA grown, woven, and manufactured workwear that doesn’t make you look like a slob. Comfortable and durable, made by respectable Americans for respectable Americans. It costs more, but it delivers more too. We all talk about that one customer who is always searching for the cheapest option, well that’s not me. Get what you pay for. #Originusa #cabinetmaker #workwear #madeinusa #usamade #tradesman
Saw calibration check… Before starting each job I verify the saw is calibrated. This includes a quick check of the back fences, making sure they are square with the blade and in plane with each other. I use my level and receipt paper to do this, as it gets me exactly where I need to be. You can’t beat these old hitachi’s for being straight and square, they are awesome. They aren’t great with dust collection though… #Mitersaw #sawcalibration #mitersawcalibration #tipsandtricks #tradetips #cabinetmaker #cabinetry #cabinetinstall
The down and dirty of upper cabinet install. If you want straight cabinets on a non-straight wall, do this. I use the string line to find the wobble in the wall, then the level to make sure going up from the bottom of my cabinet can be shimmed plumb. Then I find my studs, and use shims and a ruler to shim straight to the string line. I tack them in place with nails. When that is straight, I use my level to shim the top to plumb, making sure my level is registering at the top and the bottom of where my cabinet will be. I only shim on the studs(and where my cabinet junctions are) as that is where the fasteners will be and the rest of the cabinet will float away from the wall. #cabinetry #cabinetinstall #kitcheninstallation #kitcheninstall #cabinetmaker #jobsite
