Our bristles are 100% natural fibres - a perfect combination of 50% Tampico (from the root of the agave cactus) and 50% horsehair. We knew that we needed bristles that would maintain their shape over time and effectively clean a fireplace. It was also very important to us to avoid using synthetic materials.
