Take a tour of our recently completed lakehouse project at Cedar Creek Lake! Incredible lakefront property that was transformed into a modern and serene retreat. The scope included a full renovation of the interior, exterior and landscape. Fully redesigned to maximize natural light and focus on the breathtaking views. Upgraded with new modern appliances and smart home technology. We expanded and maximized outdoor living spaces like decks and patios to bring the outdoors in and promote outdoor living. Our clients are a young family of 6 with a large extended family who loves to entertain. Their ultimate goal was to make this home as fun as possible so it came as no surprise to us when they requested to incorporate slides, a golf simulator, basketball and pickle ball courts and a gaming room in addition to all the watersports toys for the lake. Styling shelves is often perceived as a simple task of arranging items, but it is a science that blends elements of design, psychology and functionality. Ensuring items are balanced visually involves considering their size, shape and color. Heavy objects can be balanced with lighter ones to maintain symmetry. Selecting items that are proportional to the size of shelf and room prevents the space from looking cluttered. Sticking to a cohesive color scheme can tie the shelf display together. Mixing different textures like wood, metal and glass as well as layering (placing in front, middle, back) adds depth and interest. And most important, including personal items such as souvenirs, photos and heirlooms can make the space feel unique and lived-in. Styling shelves effectively involves thoughtful application of design principles to create a cohesive, functional and aesthetically pleasing display!
